Icon5 Questions about WDW in November.

I am going to WDW in November the 19-25 and have some questions.
1. How warm is it? Is it hot enough to go swimming?
2. Do we get the afternoon rain showers like in September?
3. I know it is the week of Thanksgiving are the crowds going to be as bad as in the summer time?
4. When do the Christmas trees and other Christmas things get put up?
I guess thats enough for now. I am sure I will think of more.

Re: Questions about WDW in November.

1. How warm is it? Is it hot enough to go swimming? I believe the temps are still warm enough to swim. My DD was swimming in January, so I imagine November would be fine.
2. Do we get the afternoon rain showers like in September? Rainfall is not like the summer months due to less humidity.
3. I know it is the week of Thanksgiving are the crowds going to be as bad as in the summer time? Yes, thanksgiving is a popular week to be at WDW. Just have a plan and utilize EMH.
4. When do the Christmas trees and other Christmas things get put up? The day after Thanksgiving the Christmas decore goes up.

Re: Questions about WDW in November.

Thanks for the info. I thought it would be warm enough. My kids love the pool. I think they would have been upset if they could not swim. I thought of another question how is the pool or pools at Pop Century?

The big pool at PC is a big bowling pin...looks pretty cool actually. All of the pools at WDW are heated, so even if it's a little cool, you can let the kids swim. The weather this January was not very kind to us and was a little on the cool side, but I let my DD swim anyway. I just had a very warm fleece nightgown for her to put on directly after getting out of the pool. Bring a robe or something warm like that just in case it's cooler. No reason to not let them get in the pool. Bella has stayed at PC twice and can comment on the pools better than me.

The pools at PC are great!
The Hippy Dee Dippy Pool is HUGE! The downside to value resorts pools is that there are now slides.
There is also a Bowling Pin Pool which is very cool--but always has a lot of people in it..Yes, it's actually shaped like a bowling pin
The Computer Pool by far seems the quiest. They're great...

Re: Questions about WDW in November.

Thank you Cinderbella. Another Question, I have a standard room, are there any buildings I should request. Last summer we stayed at ASMU and were all the way in the back in the country and western area. That is a long way to get to the main building and bus stops. If you eat in the food court and have to take your mugs back to the room it takes at least 10 to 12 mins. to go back and forth before you can go to the bus stop.

Re: Questions about WDW in November.

I was in the 70's building... on the map it looked like we were far away, but the walk to the lobby/bus stops/etc was only 5 minutes, not even. Plus the 70's music was great... I was disco-ing all the way through our building.

We stay at the Wilderness Lodge (usually go 2nd week in Nov) and they put up their awesome Christmas tree before Thanksgiving.....kinda magical 'cause it goes up during the night, so next morning---whoo hoo!
