Am I crazy?

DH and I were planning our next Disney trip for either Oct. 2005 or Jan 2006. It looks like Jan. is going to work better for us. DH is not sure if he will be able to get off from work then though. I am still thinking of taking DD myself. She will be 4 then. Am I crazy thinking that I can do Disney with a 4 year old by myself? She is a great kid and behaves well, but Disney is a lot of work alone and to have a 4 year old on top of it....? What do you think?

Go and have fun. You will have some special memories of your "girls only" trip with your DD. I took my DD to Disneyland by myself when she was 18 months old. I will never forget our special trip together.

Absolutely do it. It'll be a very special "girl's" trip. I'm looking forward to a vacation with my older daughter when she graduates University this May. If I had had the opportunity of taking my girls to WDW by myself when they were little, I would have jumped at the chance! Have fun!

I'd personally rather see ANYone go as a family, but if it can't happen like that, then yes! Go! You'll be fine. I don't see how one kid could be hard to handle anywhere!

1 child on your own, easy!!! This also means that you can concentrate on things that the 4 yo wants to do.

LOL! If only you knew the amount of planning and things I have to take with me just to go to the grocery store! LOL!

I'd gladly do Disney with just one! Even if it was the baby! LOL!

Seriously, though. One would be alot of fun. You can just totally get in to her/him? and what she/he? wants. The bummer would be you wouldn't be able to do any grown up rides.

Do you have a friend that can come with you?

I say go for it. It's like going shopping with DD. This time in a bigger and better place! With all the excitement I'm sure it will all be a piece of cake.

Just like all of the above............go for it. A four year old would be perfect for me (I like all the "kiddie" rides). I think a trip like that would really be wonderful. How does your daughter handle shopping, if she is good then, I'd say she'd be fine. If I had, had the chance to do a trip with my daughter, I would have.

I'd do it with one kid, but not two. (but that's just me)

Emily is off school this week but Zachary isn't, so we'll probably go to Disneyland together on Thursday or Friday.
