Disney On Ice questions!!
Hey everyone! I was just wondering if any of you guys have gone to "Disney on Ice" becuase my friend invited me to go in 2 weeks to go see the "100 years of magic" version of disney on ice. Have any of you seen this? Im thinking that it would be to little kid oriented, do u think a group of teenagers would have fun? Im sure I would since Im a die hard disney fan, but I dont know if my other friends would. I called the Disney club a couple days ago to see if they have any discount for the show, the man said they currently had a 10% discount, but he never mentioned how much the actual tickets cost. Do any of you know how much they cost?? I tried the disney on ice site, but it gave me like 3 different prices. Thanks for any help!
Joe:)

Hi Joe,
It's nice to be able to answer your questions.:D We have seen Disney on Ice, 3 different times (different shows) Although we haven't seen the 100 years of magic, or maybe we have..is that the one with 102 dalmations? They were all phenomonal. My daughter was 3 at the time and we had just come back from Disney World, and she told me she would rather go to Disney on Ice, can you believe it? (of course if since brainwashed her so Daddy thinks we both want to go!) As to the different prices its probabally where you sit. The more expensive being closer to the ice. (which is where we sit) As we all know no one puts on a show like Disney, and the on ice productions in my opinion are Great!!!! Let us know if you go and what you think!! Lauren:)

LAURENGOLD, you said it!!! NO ONE puts on an ice show like Disney....they are AWESOME! We went to Snow White on Ice about a year and 1/2 ago.....and there is no way to explain how wonderful it was. There was a large group of us aged from 18 months to 60 years old (one 15 year old) and no one wanted it to end. You have got to see any of the shows.
I am so jealous.....the nearest Disney on Ice show to us is 4 hours away. And the one I REALLY want to see (Toy Story 2 on Ice) is 6 hours away. They have nothing on their line up for our area. We are thinking about going to the Texas State Fair, though, because The Lion King (from Broadway) has 27 performances scheduled this month. Since the fair is in Dallas, I'm not sure the kids would want to ride 3 hours...then sit through a show for 2 hours....then ride back home. We'll see. By the way....if you ever get the chance to see "The Wizard of Oz on Ice" you must go.......This is produced by Feld Entertainment (the same people who produce Disney on Ice) so the quality is just as good. It was a spectacular show! Enjoy!

We just purchased tickets for Disney on Ice yesterday for the day after Thanksgiving. The ticket prices vary by the venue but are generally from $15 to $60 a seat.
We usually get the $25 to $30 seats through Ticketmaster. That will put you in the lower tier. The shows are great, but bring $$$$$$$ for refreshments and souvenirs, ie. small popcorn $10, snow cones $8. I think it would depend on who the teenagers were to really enjoy the show. Its not hockey. Go with your friend, they already are sold on going. Enjoy

We've attended 5 Disney on Ice shows. We live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, so usually there are 2 different shows each year. The 100 Years of Magic will be in Philly I believe in a couple of weeks. I didn't purchase tickets for that show, but we have gone to 5 different shows in recent years. All the shows were very good, but some better then others. My favorite was the one based on The Little Mermaid which was a couple of years ago. My daughter was probably 6 or 7 at the time and she loved the show as much as I did.:)
