I started planning my next trip while I was packing to come home last year, so I guess I start getting excited right after the last trip to WDW ends. Next month seems so far away...

I get excited when we start thinking about it and getting all the groundwork thought out...where to stay...when to go...how long to stay...I love the planning process. I go to work and think work all day long, then I can come home and really think about all the good things to do once the trip is planned out. It's like leaving reality for a while and venturing into Disney fantasy and having happy magical thoughts of what the next trip will bring.

I am always excited when we make trip plans but I will admit that with my busy life and all that the real excitement kicks in when the trip is close (30 days or so). Last year was the first year we had annual passes for the family and so since I get 5 days off every other week and my DW works mon-weds, some of our trips got planned not even 30 days in advance!
