Poll: When do you get excited about your upcoming trip

Even though I have 230 days to go until our 3 week WDW vacation, I am so excited about our trip. Even though things have been really hectic lately, there is not a day that goes by that I am not thinking about our trip. My DD and I usually plan our trip as soon as I book them, but since this trip is a surprise birthday gift for both of our kids, I can not talk to her about the trip. I feel like I am going to explode. Does anyone else get this excited with such a long countdown?

As soon as we make our reservations, the excitment begins, and carries right through till the minute we arrive!

Then, we REALLY get excited!

I get excited as soon as I book our trip. It's always on my mind and I am always planning it. After I book our PS there's so little to do that I start to get worried that I could have planned our PSs better. I keep going through our plans to see if there is a better way to fit everyting in. Once we hit single digits I panic in an excited way.

As soon as I get home from one trip, I am already thinking of when I can go back. As soon as I book the dates I start planning. I think the planning is almost as fun as going! That is why I always do it myself rather than thru a travel agent.

I would like to say "all of the above." I get excited when I first book my trip, But with each little milestone, I get even more excited. I love planning though.

When our kids were younger we would get the Disney travel brocure from AAA as soon as it came out. Also the Unofficial and Official Guides. We would build the kids' (and our) excitement over the months to a fever pitch by the time we departed. After all, anticipation is part of the fun, huh?

Oh boy the minute that I start planning my trip Im flipping out.. But I really get excited after everything is finalized and I make my deposit then I know that its real. Im like oh boy Im going to Disney.
