Does anyone here Scrapbook?

I have read in several places that there is a new scrapbook store at Downtown Disney. Can anyone confirm this for me?

I love to scrap my Disney vacations and the more "genuine disney" stuff I can get, the better!!!

Thanks guys!

Yes, there is, at the bookstore in DTD Marketplace.

they also have demonstrations on new techniques and stuff.

I scrapbook too - LOVE it. I can't wait to hit the store in December. :D

We went to the store at DD Marketplace in Sept. I can't remember the exact name of the store but it is accross from Once Upon a Toy Store and is called something like Reading & Writing. They have a great selection of paper, stickers & die cuts, a few albums to choose from and also have make and take pages with all of the supplies needed. I got some great stuff!

I have a scrap book of every trip my church's youth group has been on. It started 4 years ago with my first trip to snorkel at john pennekamp in the florida keys, and my most recent trip in there was the 2002 NIGHT OF JOY trip to WDW, i had so much fun! lol. Its great to pull that book out and look at how much some of us have changed and reflect on our trips. Scrapbbooking is the best and most fun way to keep those memoried alive!! I should check out that store on my next trip, thanks for the heads up!
Joe:)

I Love Scrapbooking. My first pages were of my Disney vacation. Though I bought a photo album before I left, it just didn't seem to capture the mood of my wonderful week. I used the set of 2nd prints for my new hobby. I heard the store in DTD (can't recall the name) also sells page kits. Has anyone noticed if they also sell rubber stamps and punches? I bought two from the local crafts store but it seems so unauthentic. :)

I Love to Scrapbook too. I have a new Christmas Album that I need to start. I usually scrapbook in the Fall, when it starts getting cool. For some reason I do my most creative scrapbooking then lol. I do scrapbook at other times, but I get more albums done around this time.

I have all of my Disney Vacation photos I need to do, but I wanted a Disney Album. I know I won't be going to Disney anytime soon. I wonder if there is anyway the Disney Outlet will get any of the scrapbooking supplies into their store. It would be great if they did!!!

Joe, that's wicked cool that you scrapbook! My husband loves the scrapbooks that I make, I just wish he would put together pages, too.

Amythest - I heard they did sell the punches and stamps, too. You can also get them at Michael's craft stores.

According to DTD website, here is the info on the store:

Name: Scrapbook Center

Description: Bestsellers; storytime favorites; Disney books, music, and videos; stationery and cards. Location: Downtown DisneyŪ Marketplace

i don't remember an actual scrap book store but there is a store in MGM that has a ton of scrap book stuff. There is one by the entrance near where you pick up your pictures taken in the park (cant remember the name) They had some neat stuff.

I needed to bring this thread up again because I have a question. National Scrapbook day is coming up, and I'm going to work on my Disney Vacation album. I have some stickers and diecuts but I wanted to see if Disney had anything else, like Resort stickers or theme park stickers. My question is, do any of you know if I can find this online? Is there an online Disney scrapbooking store?

Thanks for you help.

:)

I print out my own logos on card stock and glue the backs, but there are park sticker sets you can buy.

Check out MouseMemories.com - they have sets available. YOu can also buy direct from WDW Merchandising, but have a heft shipping charge.

Also, hit Home Depot and pick up some of the Mickey sillouhette paint chips. I don't know if they are acid free, so don't let them touch any photos, but they also make great stencils or forms for making your own diecuts.

That's a dream of mine - to do a Disney creative store.

I scrapbook also. I've bought scrapbooking supplies, pages, stickers from Down Town DIsney and also they had some in the resort shops.

I"ve bought WDW park and character sticker packs from Mousememories.com and also Stickerplanet.com I recommend them both for Disney themed scrapbooking supplies. (Mousememories has more of a selection, but sticker planet has packs you could buy...a little cheaper than Mousememories. )

My friend Carol made a scrapbook from her march trip to disney and it came out so cute! She got her stuff from Michael's craft store (I'm pretty sure those are all over the country and they were very cute) I have been to mousememories.com also to look but I want to wait until I get there so I can go to the scrapbooking store in downtown disney. Oh I'm so excited. I plan to get some supplies there, some at michaels and check out some of the sales on mousememories and then wait until August when both of my kids will be in school and I will spend several days just sitting at the kitchen table working on it. I would rather wait and do it then when I have plenty of time to do it right instead of rushing through it right when we get back all of the summer stuff going on around here with the kids.
