Playing Peter Pan

DD is Peter Pan fanatic!!!!!
Just read about MNSSHP tickets going on sale and we will be there for the very first date.
I have been so patiently waiting to make sure that we would be able to this, before I told her, but tonight I finally was able to tell her that for one very special night while at WDW we would get to play Peter Pan. That's right the DH will be Hook, DD will be Peter Pan (yes strange, but she truely has been asking to PP for months. He is her main squeeze)And I get to be Tink. I know probably a very common set up for families,(Is it?) but DD is constantly asking us to play PP with her. And she always say who we can play. Since her daddy has been gone for 6 months, nobody has been able to play Hook, she just couldnt allow it. Now her little dream will come true. OMG I am so excited......
Now I wonder if I can talk DH into playing Hook from Return to Neverland, she just loves Hook's Heart Panties. And it may help him keep cool.
Life is good that I am tearing up, hubby is coming home and we get to give our DD a dream come true........
To sappy must move on..........
****skips out of room with joy

Re: Playing Peter Pan

Make sure you sign up for the Magic Kingdom family magic tour -- I hear Peter Pan plays a very big role in it.

Re: Playing Peter Pan

Take the chance on the family tour!!!!! Whether or not PP is at the end doesn't matter. My 5 yo DD had a fabulous time running all through the park on a scavenger hunt! At the end we did see PP and Wendy and we got to spend Lots and lots of one on one time with them. Then we went on a ride with the characters! . We were going to do Mickey's Philharmagic, but one little boy in our group was scared so Peter and Wendy took the kids to the tea cups. The boys rode with Peter and the girls rode with Wendy (this was just how it fell in our group). We got to go into the ride through the exit and it caused quite a stir to see Peter and Wendy on a ride. Alice and the Mad Hatter walked by after they were through signing autographs and very politely, but very loudly said hello to Peter and Wendy and the kids. Other guests were looking at us and I am sure that they were wondering what we were doing. If you were not a member of this group, you were not even allowed to get your picture or autograph with Peter. The kids had a fabulous time as well even just on the scavenger hunt, but it was wonderful that she got to ride a ride with Wendy. She still talks about it and it was 6 months ago. Well worth the $ and time (about 2- 2 1/2 hours). Enjoy your trip!

Things change as often as the weather at Disney. I'd call guest relations at the MK and ask them how often Peter and Wendy are the final characters on the tour (I'm sure the 407-wdisney CMs will say that "disney reserves the right to change the end characters, etc...," so I'd call the MK directly and see if you can get some first-hand experience advice). From the reports I've read, they're often the star attractions, but just to be sure, I'd call... .
