Wrist bands, you wear them?

I did notice that Disney has jumped on the wrist "bands" craze when I was there in April. We did buy the 3 oldest one each and now they have almost every color and cause to wear. I do wear three myself, a yellow "LIVESTRONG", a blue "HOPE"(from Coaches vs.Cancer) and a gold one, "ND FIGHTING IRISH HANNAH & FRIENDS"(for Charlie Weis' daughter's charity). What bands do any of the DC'ers wear?

My DS has about 10 of them. They are very popular here.

All of my junior high students seem to wear them. I saw the Mickey head ones a couple of weeks ago, I may have to look at these this summer--they are cute.

I wear a yellow "support your troops" one and DD and a red white and blue one with the same message.
If you look at my signature you will have a good idea why we wear ours.

I have a blue diabetes one that I lost somewhere that one of my students bought for me, and then i have a green one that my lil sorority sister gave to me that Kappa Delta created to prevent child abuse..their green..that ones my favorite

I wear a white band with blue lettering that says "Love a shelter pet", because my Chloe, my parents 3 dogs and my wife's stupid cat are all rescues!!!

I haven't seen that one either. We have a rescue dog at our house as well.

What do the Disney ones look like?
I have the Livestrong one, which I don't wear too much. A few from Until There's a Cure (AIDS, can buy at The Body Shop). And my blue Police bracelet (same type as Livestrong, just blue). I wear the police one the most.

My local SPCA was selling them as a fund raiser. I'm honestly not a fan of the wristbands in general, it was awesome when people wore them only when they stood for something, like the yellow and pink ones, but now they are just jewelry. I know some of them still have meaning, my wife wears the Armstrong and Breast Cancer ones, and I think thats awesome, but I dunno, thats just my opinion.

I wear a purple one that we sold for Cancer memory and victory walk. My dad was recently diagnosed with a form of cancer and all of us in the family wear one to show him we support him.

my family wears red ones with the name of our local sheriff on them. He is fighting a rare form of cancer and the profits go to stem cell research and other cancer research.
