Muppets wizard of Oz

Ok who saw it? Who liked it? and who thought they could do better? I was entertained, but thought that it could have been so much more funny. This was by far the least funny muppet movie I have ever seen. Not a good come back for the Muppets.

I agree, it could have been better. Didn't keep my DS's attention at all.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I liked it. I liked the way they changed it to fit their skewed vision of the tale as they always do. I liked "The Witch is Back" that was sung by Biker Witch Miss Piggy. I can't wait for the DVD on Aug. 9. But, hey that's just me.

Watched the first hour and found a couple issues. While the story was funny, I was surprised by the comments about nipples and feeling sexy in the shoes. Those are two words that should not be spoken in a Disney movie. Anyone else notice that?

Go ahead, call me a prude.

Wow! You didn't even wait til they got to Oz.

For a TV movie, I liked it. It could have been much more, but then, it should have been a real movie in the first place. There was some funny lines, but not a lot. Pepe the Prawn was the funniest one of the bunch. The beginning and ending were weak and rushed.

I actually found the nipples thing quite funny and suiting for Gonzo, but I may be the minority.

I agree with you. The the big boob focus with that woman in OZ talking to Gonzo. I just don't think that stuff is neccessary.

I am not going to call you a prude, because I thought that was a little "off" too. I can handle the sexy comment, but the nipple thing was a little strange. I understand they were trying to grab the adult audience, but no need to go there.
