Icon14 DisneyOnline headache!!!

FRUSTRATED AS ALL GET-OUT!
I cannot log into my online account... it keeps telling me my member name is wrong, or my password is wrong -- even that my birthdate is wrong!!! I have been trying everything!
I finally got an email address for the Help Department... and voila! An automated response telling me to check out the (useless) FAQ section!
I need to talk to an actual person who can help me.
Any ideas!!!!!?????

MissDisney,

I think the same thing happened to me. Check out my post here . By following the instructions on the Faq (there's a link to it in that post), I was e-mailed all of my ID's and passwords that I've ever used at Disney sites. 1 of those combinations was the one the login site was looking for...and it was a combination that I never remember using...ever...

Thanks Bruce... but to do that, you have to have the correct birthdate!!! How, after 40+ years, I no longer have the correct birthdate, I don't know!

OK... Bruce, that site also had a phone number to call if you have trouble with your kid's account. Guess what? I have trouble with ALL teh accounts, so I am now on hold to talk to a person...
But the hold music is really good! I am listening to a Splash Mountain Medley, Home On The Range, and other cool stuff from Radio Disney...

Disney's site is not user friendly at all. And just when you think you've got it figured out, they change it all around again.

You'd think for a company that has so many smart, innovative people working for them, they could come up with a better website.

We also talked to someone at a Disney help desk somewhere. Like all help desks, it was very frustrating... Good luck!

I changed my thread's frown icon to a THUMBS UP icon -- thanks to Bruce and especially to cast member MELISSA at Disney Online, who took a long time to fix all our problems with the accounts!!!

I recently had trouble, too. Since I am always "Cinderellafifi" for my Disney related sites (and most others ) I just could not understand why they were telling me "I" didn't exist, but someone with that user name did when I tried to activate another account, in an abundance of caution. After playing around with a couple of Disney sites, Disney Online, Disney.Go, I eventually was permitted to log in...It was a pain. Glad it worked out for you!!
