Confession: I just laminated my ARs
OK, I still can't get used to calling them ARs, but I'll get over it.
I just put the finishing touches on all our reservations and today, I broke down: I printed up the ARs (including flight times) on a wallet sized piece of paper and "laminated: it with scotch tape. It's in my wallet. When are we going to start the Disney OCD Planners Anonymous(e) club?

That is what I usually do, but this time I have not done much. I don't even have a dog sitter! Only 2 weeks to go, I am normally packed and everything by now. Do any over planners want to come over and help! LOL

I'm in the club...I have gone as far to laminate anything, but my collapable file folder is coming along nicely. I hand drew all my mousekeeper envelopes like last trip and as soon as I get the airfare (finally) I can start my day by day planning envelopes..lol

Well, I haven't laminated anything but our whole trip is in Excel, with where we're going every day, all our PS (I mean AR) times and res. numbers. (I even included some the counter service meal locations.) Next is to put our daily touring plans in the workbook. Am I in the club?
At work when I talk Disney and the trip people are starting to roll their eyes and make excuses like they're late for a meeting...

Now I know I am in the right place! My trip in in December and I have planned nearly everyday of the 3 week trip! right down to where and when we will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are a couple of gaps just incase I want to change my mind, but I do have 6 months to change and re-change my planner!

People always think it is silly to plan ahead but when I talk to people when they get back and ask them if they went on splash mt. or how they liked something I often get the response that they "didn't have time to do that". We do everything and the really fun things more because of my careful planning. It is well worth it.

Hey Matt... if it's true you are a WDW nerd, I have a tip to share! I heard you can also buy special WDW sneakers that have an easy-access pocket for your PH so you can save 1.7 seconds at the gate!

I thought maybe it was just me and I way overplanned my first Disney vacation. I laminated last year, even made and laminated my own luggage tags so everything was totally Disney! Already started my lists for this year, I have my DO FIRST list, all the things we missed last year, and then our HAVE TO DO AGAIN! list. And of course my pocket sized laminaed reservation numbers, just in case. We got the MYW Dining Plan and cant make all the AR's yet but know where we want to eat everyday. And we still have 137 days before we leave!
