Getting a Pal Mickey soon?

If you are getting a Pal Mickey soon you might want to check this out.

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw...=PalMickeyPage

When you purchase a Special Edition Pal Mickey you receive a free pin after printing out the certificate. You have to play a cute little matching game but it only takes a couple of minutes and my DS thought it was fun.

We already have a Pal Mickey so we won't be using the certificate to get a free pin but the game was cute for a little Disney fix.

Re: Getting a Pal Mickey soon?

Mousesavers is reporting that the old model is selling for $27.99 now.

Just in case you will settle for the old version.

Since I trust your opinion spider...what would you do? I don't have a PAL Mickey yet because I just haven't really thought it to be worth getting...is it? If so should I get the newer one or is settling for the outdated ok.

To post a new thread go to the list of forums and pick the correct forum for the topic and go to that forum and in the upper left part of the page there is a button for posting a new thread.

Well, let me tell you what I did.

When only the old model was available I bought it, used it throughout the trip then sold it on Ebay for about 3/4 of what I paid for it. So the cost for me was minimal.

If you want to do something similar, then but the new model. More than likely the old will not resale very high anymore.

However, if you want one partly for a keepsake then I suggest getting the old one since it was the first of it's kind. Keep in mind though that there are two versions of the old. It was an internal change only to fix some bugs.

If you simply want to know if I think he is a good investment... well, I knew basically everything he had to say. Most of the jokes are bad, and he becomes a bother at times (especially when walking through Fantasyland). The new model does have many improvements and supposedly will be able to change clothes. If you have kids (say the 5 to 13 age) then this may be a great idea. he is fun to share with a family and he plays games too.

I really don't know if I helped. I feel like I beat around the bush a bit. Ultimately, many people love him, some don't. I am kinda in between. I think he could do more and be silly less.

These are the kind of things I have heard before, which is why I never bought one to begin with. I think I will just add to my snowglobe collection instead.
