OK! this is a serious problem. As you can see from my countdown we're getting close and I have the concentration of a gnat. I am reading EVERY post, checking for updates every spare moment (and some that aren't spare) I'm going nuts! I'm at work and I do need to focus here.

I thought when the tickets arrived I would calm down and be able to better focus - NO! Little yellow ME tags and holographic baggage ID tags just made it worse How do you all get a days work done when all you can think of is an upcoming WDW vacation Help the newbie

Well, first keep saying to yourself, "If I get fired from this job, I won't be able to go to disney anymore" Really I can't help you, my first trip many many years ago, I drove people crazy listening my babble about disney. I think that's why DC was invented so we can talk to other crazy people. And I'm not the person to ask, my trips are too far apart, so with things changing all the time, it's almost like a new disney each time. Which means more stuff to think about.

Take a deep breath. Then allow yourself to spend your lunch hour reading posts, and going through guide books. 9 days! I can't blame you for being excited. I am getting excited just because I will be able to make my adr's soon!

I see you are having the pre-trip jitters...or WDW overload. We all go through it before a trip. About the ME and the no tags, call and confirm the ME with WDW to set yourself at ease. A few of our DCers had successful experiences with ME and had no tags. Make your luggage loud, so you someone could easily find it and know it's yours. If you are still anxious about them finding it and bringing it to your resort, wait for it and take it to the ME for check-in. You and your trip are going to be fine. Relax it's almost here.

I know what you are feeling. I spent every minute I could here to help pass the time until my trip. It didn't help but I learned a lot. Enjoy these last planning days, your trip will be here soon.

It's a love-hate thing for me, I want my trip to come but I get so nervous about everything. I worry about the weather, the crowds, the restaurants I picked, the times I made our ADRs, our transportation, you name it I worry about it. Once we finally leave all of that goes away and I have a great time.

The tags ARE here, that's part of the problem. I find myself staring longingly at them, my DH calls it fondling... Checking the ticket folder to see if there might be one word or phrase I haven't already read 10 times.

I'm not nervous, I couldn't care less if it stormed, if we were delayed, if luggage went missing... Last year we arrived the day after the hurricane, a little mess, AK closed, pools & fountains closed, it's all OK. So long as I'm on my way I'll be happy. Until then, your all a great help. It's good to know I'm not sick, I'm part of a select few that really understand the WDW bug

It's like being a kid again and waiting for Christmas. As kids we would start saying a week before "ok today its Christmas Eve eve eve eve eve eve eve" just to make it seem closer.
