Cirque du Soleil's Quidam on Bravo -
Cirque du Soleil's Quidam is coming on the Bravo channel at 11:00pm EST tonight (now!). Also airing again Wed, Jan 01 11:00 AM
It's not the same show as the one in Downtown Disney.. but it was great for me to see it (it aired earlier also) because my husband took his parents to see Quidam a couple of weeks ago (Quidam is on tour in St. Petersburg, Florida until Dec. 15) and now I know what they saw (kind of). The people that he saw performing were different he said, but of the little parts I got him to come look at - he said the show seemed the same or similar as the one he saw. Same spectacular and odd things going on. Save ya $70.00 (at least!) :laugh Last edited by Sheryl; 11-29-2002 at 11:27 PM. |

There was actually a Cirque du Soleil marathon on Bravo on Thanksgiving. It went from 1:00-9:00 p.m. Quidam was not part of that marathon, however. Since I was home alone with a sick daughter, anyway, I taped the whole thing, and then added Quidam on last night. I guess you could say that, since seeing La Nouba in July, we've become "Cirque-heads." I will say, though, that, when you say,

Oh, I can imagine wdwjeff!! I'd really like to go someday, but it was so great to see it on tv so I could know to wait until my kids are a LOT older. The "hanging" images in the Quidam were a bit disturbing to me. I don't want to have to explain that...LOL! You know after hours of "never put anything around your neck".
Oh, and wdwjeff, I hope you can tell me this.. I also saw the "Cirque du Soleil's Nouvelle Experience" show on Bravo. It had a guy with the camera directing the scene with the audience members as different people (the jealous boyfriend, etc.) That was SO FUNNY! I loved that!!! Is that from a certain show? My parents would enjoy that. Is there anything similar to that in any certain show? |

I love Cirque du Soleil. I saw "Allegria" at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi twice. It is something I will never forget. There is a Cirque movie playing here in town at the dome movie theatre. Has anyone seen it?
