Two things I will not forget this time!!!
I will not forget to buy a four-six cup coffee maker! Lets face it, most of the coffee at WDW is down right nasty! At home I grind our coffee as needed, I will do the same this time around. And another thing I grind daily is my pepper!! I love my pepper! I use a nice old one at home, but I think, I'll invest in a small grinder that I can take with me. Just like most restaurants WDW pepper shakers are lousy and thier pepper is also lousy. So, if you are at the same restaurant as we are and you hear some grinding going on, just ask, you may use it too!!!

Franco, where will you be staying? Therre is a little umbrella stand on the boardwalk right behind the entrance to the Boardwalk resort that has some of the best coffee I've ever had. Now perhaps it has something to do with being at WDW, looking across the bay at the Y&BC, sipping a fresh cup, and munching on a pastry from that little shop on the Boardwalk, but I still say it is the best cup I've ever had!

Franco, I'm right there with ya!! I pack my own coffee maker and bring my own Dunkin' Donuts coffee. I can't stand the coffe in WDW. I buy those disposable "to go" cups and I can easily take my coffee with me. I also bring my own bottled water to make the coffee in my room. Florida water just taste horrible to me.

Your right Harry, to be fair there are some places in WDW that have good coffee. We are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort and then a couple of days at SOG.I think I will be using our coffee more in the morning before we leave for the day and after a break in the action in the afternoon. That cup you had sounds like a nice commercial for WDW!!

Hands down - the best cup of coffee I have ever had was at WDW. It was at Vicortia And Alberts. As a retired cop, I can tell you I have had the whole range of coffee. The whole dinner was excellent, but I remmber the cup of coffee at the end the most.

You know Boss Mouse, I should have thought about it alittle more. We have been to V&A's twice and you are right the coffee was super, presentation was beautiful the results were excellent. The Kona Cafe has some nice coffee, California Grill was good.Once again I think DW and myself will be using our own alot of times. Nobody is talking about my pepper!! That fresh,strong taste of it on any food, but mostly on a fine meal to me is worth its weight!

I'm with ya on the pepper, wish I had thought of it! I am pleased to hear about the Kona Cafe as we will be at the Poly this trip. Now the coffee in the parks, that is another issue altogether.

If I am not mistaken, I think there are coffe pots in all the moderate and deluxe rooms now. Just bring your coffee and pepper grinder!

The only place in WDW where I've had great coffee was at Artist Point, they used a French Press and made it right at the table, and it was smooth and perfect. Everywhere else is just, blah. Although, at the coffee cart right outside the entrance to AK, they have some great espresso drinks-mochas, lattes, etc. Never had any pepper issues though.

As for the pepper mill, in the grocery store they sell you whole peppercorns in jars that have a grinder on the top. That's what you should take. Pepper comes in all colors too. Black, white or a mix of 5 different colors. Yumm.. the only way to get fresh cracked pepper. I agree with you. good idea. I will take one next time we go.
