Ideas for last day of trip
What is a good tradition for our last day in WDW?
Tinker -someone opened a thread about what one does before they leave from vacation. I didn't want to steal (jack?) the thread so here is my question. What are your ideas? What can I do, and repeat in the future, which would wind the trip up nicely?

Our last full day (we usually reserve the first and last days to travel) we try to hit all our favorite spots, and the ones we must see before we leave.

I think a character meal is a great way to end a stay at WDW

I usually go to DTD then I'm happy that I spent my last day shopping at my fav place
 When I get in the plane I start crying

I always feel like I want to see Wishes one more time, but haven't been able to. This year I made a resv. at O'hanas to see it. Hopefully the time will be right.

I too usually spend my last day at DTD. It seems to feel less rushed than if you try to squeeze in a park. Also, you can pretty much find any souvenier that you could think of.

Depending on our flight time sometimes we go back to a park or to for last minute shopping and favorite rides. If we don't have a lot of time we go to DTD or rent a boat(if we are staying at a resort with a marina) and cruise around the resort area.

Last trip we rented Water Mice and shopped at DTD. Very relaxing before a late afternoon flight.

This trip our last day will be spent at DTD. Our AP's expire the day before, so we won't head to the parks. We'll say our goodbyes the night before.

We always (at Disneyland,we have not been to Disney world) hit all of our favorite rides, shop for whatever we missed, and have ice cream at the ice cream shop on main street.

I always have a farewell character breakfast at Chef Mickey's, and then take the bus system around as efficiently as possible to explore other resorts. I like to explore them and plan which resort I would most like to come back to...it makes me feel a little more hopeful that I will be back soon!
I remember last time, I was sure I was going to be back REALLY soon and I was determined to stay at either the AKL or the BWI.  It's been 2 years and I still haven't fulfilled that wish. Awwww I'm gonna start crying I just know it...

Hey Tink, I stole this idea from you. I just didn't want to spanked for hifacking your thread! I floated the idea (of starting a last day tradition) last night to some of the mini-mice and it was a hit! Now we have to figure what it will be. Keep the suggestions coming ...................
