what is the funniest thing you heard someone say during your trip to WDW or DL?

i would have to say this one day, rob and i were on the elevator going to the bus stop to go to a park, i forget which one, and there was a family with us on the elevator. a father was holding his son, who looked about 4 or 5, in his arms. as the elevator is going down, the boy says, "daddy, can you put me down so i can pick my wedgie?" i couldn't help but laugh with everyone else and sure enough, he was put down and picked his wedgie. you had to be there to appreciate it.

Well, mine wasn't as funny, but it made me laugh. We were on a bus to DTD, and two ladies were sitting in front of us. They were headed for Cirque, and then after, to Epcot, since it was open three hours later for EMH. They had never been to Epcot, but wanted to do some of the rides there, so they were looking at the map. The one lady said "I really want to so Soarin', Test Track and Mission Space. We should be able to do those in less than an hour." Funny thing was they were both wearing high heels and really nice dresses.

I was thinking, if the park was closed, and I was the only one in the park, I couldn't do those three rides in under an hour. With the pre-shows and walking back and forth, it would take at least an hour. That night, lines to the rides were over an hour long, since every resort guest was in those three lines.

you can take this either way...but I actually heard this one parent ask another parent in line for small world ask..."is this a scary ride? is there a drop like in pirates and splash?"...not kidding...yes it is scary with the dolls repeating their little song...but come on now...it is a children's ride...everything is happy!!!

I have 2.

Goofygal 1975 and I were having dinner at Chef Mickeys then heading over to the MK. We got behind a lovely older couple in line that were Florida residents. They had "those yearly passes and could visit any of the 3....three theme parks anytime they wanted!!!!

Another trip there was a woman with 2 girls in front of us for Splash Mountain. They were really annoying. Her younger daughter kept grabbing my daughter and shaking her. Among other things, it was awful. (the standby line had said 20 minutes, they lied ) At one point some FP users walked by us. She said real loud to her kids and anyone who would listen "LOOK AT THEM RICH PEOPLE......IT MUST BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO PAY TO CUT THE LINE" I just about rolled over laughing. But, they were so annoying I couldn't find it in myself to inform her!!!

Haha, the wedgie one is priceless. Mine was back in '02 when my friend and I tried to eat at Pinnochio's Haus, but it was closed for some reason. The CM out front (who had a thick hispanic accent) kept saying "Cosmic Waves! Cosmic Waves!" We couldn't figure out what he meant. Was he trying to tell us that some sort of cosmic waves made the restaurant lose power? We had no clue. It wasn't until this past January that the same friend and I were sitting in Cosmic Ray's restaurant eating lunch that we FINALLY realized that the CM was trying to tell us to eat at Cosmic Ray's! Not the funniest story, but we got a good chuckle out of it.

I've put mine in some of my old TR's........but I'll re-write them again:

I was in the bathroom at MGM (the one right near ToT) I was the only person in there until a mother dragged her youngish daughter in the bathroom...the daughter was being a real brat, and having a terrible tantrum...the mother...fed up with life apperantly..said "You better shut up because you're driving your father crazy and if it wasn't for me you wouldn't even be at disney world!"
the little girl...cared not..and kept screaming and crying...
Then the mother said " I will not let you're chemical embalance ruin my trip!"

I always love being in line with people who "claim" to have been on a ride before, but from the way they are describing it to the person they are with it is very clear that they don't know what they are talking about. I have heard about the loops in Space Mountain, the abominable snowman touching you in the Matterhorn at DLR, etc. I just look at them like they are crazy, but never say a word.
The other one I love is when someone walks up to the bus clearly marked EPCOT and asks if this is the bus to the MK!

Yep, thats why I use the username. It makes me laugh to think about how stupid we were.

I heard something similar, the MGM bus pulled up clearly marked and DW and I got on. The woman behind us asked if this bus went to Universal Studios!!! Joe

Another one, while waiting for a bus at one of CSR bus stops a woman picks up the house phone and asks the operator if any of the buses that stop at this resort go to "Walt Disney World"!!! Joe
