What was the best meal you ate??? If there was one attraction (and only one) you could go back to right now and do again what would it be? (If a genie could zap you back, I can't spell!);)

SINGLE BEST EXPERIENCE:
MVMCP--SITTING ON THE CURB BY OURSELVES AT THE 1040 PARADE. WE WERE ACROSS FROM THE TRAIN STATION, AND NO ONE WAS ON OUR SIDE OF THE STREET--THE CHARACTERS ALL MADE A FUSS OVER MY 10YO DS. HE TURNED TO ME AFTER THE PARADE WAS OVER AND TOLD ME THAT WAS THE BEST TIME EVER AT DISNEYWORLD.

SORRY--THERE IS ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE.
BEING AT AK ON CHRISTMAS DAY WHEN IT OPENED. EVERYONE WAS IN SUCH A GREAT MOOD (CAST MEMBERS, GUESTS, OUR FAMILY)--IT WAS PRETTY EMPTY AND WE GOT TO RIDE EVERYTHING WE WANTED IN RECORD TIME. EVERYONE WAS WISHING EVERYONE ELSE MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND IT WAS JUST GREAT.

BEST MEAL? LE CELLIER ON CHRISTMAS EVE.

POR

The boys did not like it there--said it was not "disney" enough. Last time we stayed at the swan and they loved that.

The grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were nice. Just not enough mickey I guess!

At first it started very small as most dreams do.
A twinkle in an eye, the thrill of something new.
But then the dream began to grow and come alive.
Touching every one of us, lighting up the sky.
We share a magic day, we share enchanted nights
It's a neverending story and together we all find
It's been a part of me, it's been a part of you.
A part of growing up together
Sharing a dream come true.

The parade was wonderful. The characters, tin soldiers, the gingerbread smell from Chip-n-Dales bake shop. But this all was made much more fabulous by the lack of crowds :D

The food court is nice, the gift shop is big, and the grounds are wonderful. Catch the bus at the first stop outside the gift shop, because half the time it did not go to the back stops at all!

The rooms are fine. They are like Holiday Inns used to be organized with it being all one room.

The river is beautiful. French Quarter is close but a nice little walk, if you are a walker.

Mousekeeping needs work. They tidied up, but did not restock the soaps or shampoo. This happened on 3 of the 6 days we were there. The other days it was great.

Compared with the all-stars, this was much more relaxing, and you would never know you were in such a big complex until you get to the food court at breakfast or until some of the buses were leaving the parks. It was very quiet.

Where else were you considering?

Hey! We were at POR from Dec 21-24. Mousekeeping did a great job on our room! Always stocked and ready.
She even arranged our stuffed animals for us!

We loved the relaxed atmosphere.
We, too, liked COP and timekeeper. Although timekeeper made me cry a bit when I saw the twin towers.

Were the crowds down the whole time you were there? How was the weather? Did you go swimming? I am leaving tomorrow night! Can't imagine Christmas Day at Disney! Did you have Santa at the hotel?

We were never up in time for the dawn!:p I bet it would have been beautiful though.

The weather was really warm one day, then really blustery the next. I had my crew bring their swimsuits, and they could have swam at least one day, but they wanted to go to the parks instead--go figure!

Mousekeeping was not bad the whole time, in fact two of the days it was fabulous! It was just the other days were not good. I am sure it was just the mousekeeper that was assigned to our room.

Santa Mickey left a bag on our door with candy canes and Wonder balls in them. Santa was at our hotel christmas eve at least, but by the time we got out of the monsoon, we were too wet and cold to see him.

The crowds were not bad the whole time. In fact on Christmas day AK was practically deserted! It was great:D
