mad:I HAVE COME TO VENT!!!!! I purchased the MYW Package w/ free dining for 6 night/7 Days. I upgraded to the Deluxe dining and was told @ booking that I would receive several amenities including a certificate for a free Photo Pass complimentary 5x7 photo. I received all my goodies in the mail last week and the free photo certf. was not in it. Now mind you, I started the booking process online and was told to contact a reservation specialist, which I did. She informed me that I would receive the photo certif.. When I got my conformation statement online it was not on there. I called and was again told that I would receive it. Even after contacting Disney again last week, the person said it should be in the mail any day. WELL...Today I called and the person was very snippy and informed me that I would not be receiving the certificate because it was not booked online. That is BULL! Online told me to contact a reservation specialist!! I am very sad, especially since this will by my families first trip to Disney! I find it hard to believe that Disney would not honor a stupid $12 photo, especially since I read to them verbatim what the description said!!

Having said all this, I wondering what other unfortunate surprises Disney has in store!

I don't think you have to take this as indicative of your whole Disney experience. Call again, get someone else, perhaps get another answer. Ask for a supervisor.

I agree . . . Disney is a VERY magical place.

Sometimes you don't get the right CM . . . they don't have all the answers all the time!

You will still be able to take advantage of photopass . . . which is a lot of fun when you return home, and you can add dates, and icons to the pictures. A $12 savings is great . . . but in the end, you'll want more then one!

Though I can understand why you're upset, it's only a $12.00 picture. Don't sweat the small stuff. You have a lot of magic waiting for you at Disney World. Enjoy!

I'm sorry you had to deal with a CM who was less than helpful. Keep us updated--I think you'll find someone who is willing to help you.

While it is true that the 5x7 photo is only for those that book the package on line, prior to this year that rule was not enforce. Up grading to the Deluxe dining does give you the free resort refillable mugs. If you would PM me, with your name and address, I'll be happy to send one out for you. With Disney central reservations, it's all in who you speak with. I work for AAA travel and it's not unusual for us to call back two or three times to get the right answer.

Believe me, that is such a small perc, they will have no problem honoring it for you. Just find a manager to talk to.

I agree with the above statements as well. One bad event does not fore tell all future events. If that were the case then life itself would stink.

Don't sweat the small things...one photo isn't worth all the worry. Definitely look into photopass. A far better deal in the end if you purchase the cd. Just be sure to look for the people taking photos wherever you go.

Well Michelle like people say it is a small amount to get worked up about and you do have a love of magic waiting for you

But it's the principle of the thing, you need to see or speak to somebody important that can give you answers and get this problem sorted!

I would call back and ask to speak with someone else. Just explain in a calm & professional way what was told to you and see what happens. I can't imagine they wouldn't honor it.

Good choice. Sounds like WDW dropped the ball here, but you can still have a great vacation.
