So I wake up........
At 3:30 am to get ready for my workout at the "Y" and I see on the table a Hallmark Mickey Mouse waving the flag!!!and then there is a homemade card from the boys! There is my hero Homer Simpson saluting a rough picture of me saying "From one hero to another! Thank You for serving our country!! What a family huh? Not much goes on for me on any military holiday, I just kind of "bunker down" in my room.The family understands. But, I think I will go to the cemetary and listen to them blow "Taps"

Yes, Monday-Friday they open at 5:00am, I work out hard and I am out of there by 7:30-8:00 before the crowds come.
PS, got up to the "Y" at 4:45am and the lights were out, regular folks who open up were off, someone else was suppose to open, must have overslept!! I just came home, did not want to hang out to they got up!

You sound like my DH, he gets up at 4:30 every week day to go work out/run before we go to work. Not me--I want every minute of sleep I can get.

Thank you Franco!! Very well done MJD. Our school just had a Veteren's Day celebration. We have alot of students who have a parent that is arriving home with the 278th from Iraq today. It was very emotional!
