I'm guessing I can buy autograph books for the kids at WDW, but does anyone know where they are available and how much are they? Are they worth the money?

When we went on our Disney cruise in 2003, I made a Creative Memories book that my son used to get the charachter autographs.(we then added his picture with the characters next to the autograph when we got home) It was easy to quick run to the room and grab the book if he needed it, but I hate to haul around 3 books this time to all of the parks (the dd's are old enough to gather signatures too).

I think our daughter's book was about $10-$13 bucks. You can get them just about everywhere. We happen to get ours in the gift shop at our resort as soon as we checked in. They also now have autograph books like the one you spoke of. One side of the page has a blank insert for the picture, the other side of the page for the autograph. Personally, I let DD use the picture book to get all her autographs until it was full. Then, we got a regular autograph book with just blank pages, so we had double autographs (after being there for a week, and many many character meals) and I use those duplicates to rip out and put in our family scrapbook.

You can buy them just about everywhere - even at the hotel gift shops. Easy to grab as you are arriving and getting ready to go to the parks. I believe they sell for $6.00. They also have one that has a place for the autograph and a slot for the matching photo on the next page. It is more expensive but I am not sure how much that one is. Maybe someone else can help?

I think they are pretty expensive, but Walmart down there sells them too. I bought ours at Micheals and made my dd only let the characters sign one side to add the pictures also.

Thanks for the quick responses! I'll make sure we check out the gift shop when we check in to POFQ. It sounds a lot cheaper that Creative Memories. I think with the stickers and page protectors, the darn little book cost me $28! But it is nice to have.

Anyone notice I'm doing the single digit dance? He-he! I just sat here and watched the counter tick down from 10 days zero hours zero minutes and then presto! We're dancin! We're dancin!

I had not thought of that, what a great idea.


Twinsplusone, they have a couple different types. One with princess(pink) and one with classic characters (blue). And I also remember seeing bigger versions of both.

My grandma and mom got me a small artist drawing book at Hobby Lobby and let me decorate it with stickers before we went. I have used that book for two trips and the third in December. You can get two autographs per page if you want and four if you use the back. Plus, it is a hard cover and a little bigger so it's easier for the characters to hold and use. It also was cheaper and has a lot more pages. I used two disney autograph books on our trip in 2003. It doesn't have many pages.
