Kingdom Hearts 2

Has anyone played Kingdom Hearts 2 yet? I got it yesterday and was so excited to finally play, only to be disappointed not see Sora, Donald and Goofy right away.

Who are all of these new characters? I'm so confused! Finally after 4 hours of playing (not all at once mind you!) They finally appeared! It's like the game just started after 4 hours of nothingness and confusion. But don't get me wrong I still love it and I can not wait to see all of the disney characters they have in this one.

It is an awesome game, the game will explain why you started to play with Roxus instead of Sora. I am taking my time instead of rushing through it as I did with the first game. It will take them another 4 years to create Kingdom Hearts III so I want to savor the fantasy!

I have been DYING to play!! Too bad I don't have a playstation in my townhouse! :( I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of it! The no Sora thing is interesting...

Sora is in the game, but the game requires you to play as another character for the first three hours. It explains why in the story as you play the game. It is an excellent game thus far.

I preordered mine so I got it on the 29th. I have been obsessively playing ever since. It's hard to put it down!!!

Kingdom Hearts 2 is only for the Playstation 2 console.

I LOVE the orignal. It was fun doing the 99 Dalmatian quest ^_^. What new villains are in KH2?

KH2 has villians that they just invented. It's way more complicated as far as story line goes. But Pete is a new Disney villian (think back in the days of Steamboat Willie).

I have the final battle to fight and I've beat KH 2. Already, I know. But I love it!

Oh my gosh you're done already! That's awsome! I just finished up Mulan's part so I'm not that far into it. I miss the dalmation quest thing. I wish they had that again. So far I think I like the first one better. There seems to be more "movie" sequences in this one, as in more of them talking together than you playing. But its been a couple of years so maybe my memory is off about the first one. But I'm still loving it!

I am savoring the moment. I don't want to finish it too quickly. It may take another 5 years before they release KH3. I only play for 30 minutes a day.

Yeah, well I played the first one several times. I'm thinking I will replay number one (because I never beat Sephiroth and I didn't really do the synthesizing) then redo number 2. With KH2, I have all of their ultimate weapons through synthesizing, I'm only missing the Final Form (which I'm not really sure how I get it) and I've only missed like 3 chests in the entire game. I have like one or two more cups at the Underdrome to do as well.

And has anyone played the Atlantica world on this second one? What are your opinions of it? (I'm not going to give my opinion, in case you haven't done it yet)

i love this game! i had to make myself stop playing last night. the new worlds are great too. i think this one follows the disney movies more than the first one. i will say that i did not like the little mermaid world that much but then again i really didn't like it in the first one either. the part that i am having a hard time with is the forms and using the summons option. i liked how you could use the summon spell anytime you had magic in the other game. but still love it!
