EEK! The love bugs! What month?

I am sitting here all excited about my May trip, when I realized.... I don't know if the love bugs will be there!

I know they are there for 2 weeks in September, but are they usually there in May as well? I really really hope not! I was really looking forward to the beautiful weather, love-bug free!

I tried searching the forum, but couldn't find an answer. I've heard its June, and I am really hoping that it isn't May!

Does anyone know? Please help

I've heard its not as bad in May as it is in September. September was pretty bad for them when I was last there. Does anyone know if this is true? I'm trying to make myself feel better.

Well, like Kippage said, they're harmless. They just stick like glue to your grill (Ha, grill, that could be your car's grill or your teeth!!!)

I know they're harmless. I'm just really annoyed by their prescence.
I'm a little disppointed now about the trip, because it really took away from my last September trip. But hey, it's Disney, so it will be fun regardless, right?

I am gonna be honest, we used to go every year in May and NEVER noticed a huge presence then. I'd say it's a lot worse come June-July. I never saw one out in August either. Maybe that's b/c the downpouring rain keeps them away?!?!

Who knows, but come on McFizzle, bugs are our FRIENDS

They were really bad in February at Big River Grille -- most people moved to inside tables! We stuck it out, but we definitely had to flick the bugs off our plates and all that...

Love bugs????

I was there last May and I don't think I saw one bug except for the ones at the It's Tough to be a Bug show.

Thanks guys - I know I'm being a weirdo wuss, and that it will end up being fine regardless. I'm positive they can't be as bad as that September, and I'm sure I'll forget about it once I get a site of that welcome to Disney sign!
