Project X (secret Disney trip)

OK, ok, ok.. a couple people have written and asked me what "Project X" was and how it's happenening in only 22 days.

Well, i decided to tell everyone (don't be mad at me Erin & Paula

) but I planned a secret Disney trip and I WILL be there for the May 13th meet & greet. At FIRST we thought it would be SO cool for me to just kinda show up and surprise everyone but I think that has the potential to be very awkward, especially since my best friend will be with me.

OK, ANYWAY...

I am leaving early in the morning on May 11th, staying at SSR with our points, and flying home on the 14th.

Daniel has NO clue! I plan on packing a carry-on for each of us when I get home from work on Wednesday then waking him up at 3am to catch our early flight! He is going to FREAK. I already called the secretary at his work, got the flight, and have everything all taken care of.

PROJECT X is going to be so EXCITING!! And i am also SOOO psyched i get to meet everyone at the meet & greet!

I forgot to mention that one of the reason i decided to plan this secret trip is that it is 2 weeks before our 3rd wedding anniversary, my best friend Michele's birthday, AND my in-laws will be in the area. PERFECT timing!

Yeah, I am really excited and I KNOW DH will be soo happy to be surprised and get away for a weekend, especially finding out he'll get to see his family.. IN DISNEY!

Interesting update....

Tonight at dinner Daniel says out of NOWHERE... "I really miss those little 4 day disney trips we used to take [when we lived in Florida], cause they happened every couple months. i HATE having to wait only once a year for a long trip."

OMG, it was SO hard for me to keep a straight face, I was SOOO GOOD though! I said, "Well D, it's a lot harder now that we have to fly, it's not like we can jump in the car and be there in 3 hours." Then I said, "well don't worry, after things settle down maybe we can start doing one long trip, then a short one 6 months later, now that we have DVC it should be easier."

HEHEHE! Then I got paranoid, I REALLY REALLY hope the secretary at work, or his sister, or another family member hinted to him or spilled it or something!!! I hope it was JUST a coincidence.

WOW, I cannot wait to wake him up that morning and FREAK him out!
