So details please - or will this be like the time you sent Matt out for pizza and didn't return for like TWO days.

I love dessert for dinner. We live a mile down the road from a dairy farm that has an ice cream stand. Before we had central air, on those 90 degree July days when I couldn't think about making dinner, once or twice a summer I'd tell the kids to put on their shoes we were going to the dairy for dinner (they ask for this still, sometimes in January). WHen my MIL heard this she was horrified. I mentioned her reaction to a group of friends over dinner and one by one they all confessed to doing this during the summer, except my friend Pia who was upset she hadn't thought of it!

I'm back! I was tired last night!

Well, Matt and I were deciding on what to have for dinner, and he suggested San Angel Inn

But, it was close to 5:30 when he said it.

So, I called WDW-DINE and they had a seating available for 8:30, and I thought we could -JUST- make it.

On the way there it became apparent that it would be pretty much impossible (we just didn't leave the house in time)

So, I called back, and I got a 9:50 seating for Spoodles!!! It was great!

We went through the Inernational Gateway Of Love (I added the "Of Love" part myself, because I say it outloud in this big announcer voice, and it makes me smile)

and did the fastest overview of the WS, ever. We walked SO fast. We wanted to try to see everything we haven't seen so far (Which is just Mexico and Norway)

By "see" - I mean, "See" it - not actually experience it.

Really, we just wanted to take Sissy on Maelstrom, since she wasn't with us when we rode it before.

So we FLY over to Maelstrom, ride it. (I love those trolls! They were STILL mad that we were there, and made us leave AGAIN! They punish us by making us look at oil rigs! LOL! I love trolls!)

So, after Maelstrom, IllumiNations was beginning!!!!!!!!!! So, we watch it

and then, walked really fast BACK through WS, to the International Gateway Of Love, and right into or ADR at Spoodles!!!!

Yum!!

Oh, we paused in China (or maybe Japan, I am not gonna pretend to know) to look at...

Spur of the moment trips got to love them, Turned out my afternoon got freed up yesterday and I did the same thing went to MGM then Epcot.

Oh!

The kids and I saw the live dessert menu in the lobby of Spoodles, and decided that we most definitely needed to have dessert for diner!


So:

Matt had Rigatoni (no mushrooms, please), a greek salad, and a coke.

Um, has anyone ever ordered their greek salad??? We are dumb southern people, so we were thrilled that it came in a neat little shape! LOL! (like a flat cylinder shape on a plate!...it just comes in a bowl around here!)

The lettuce is sort of on top, and all the good stuff is under it. LOL!

I had the dessert Sampler. I don't know what most of it was, but my favorite was the creme brulee!!! SO YUMMERS! There was a small circle of yum located near some delicious raspberries, and I ate that, too.


SIssy had the Chocolate Orange something with the Chocolate with Mickeys in gold on it. She loved it!

Mikie had the sundae - where they let him make it himself! So cute! He really enjoyed it!

Caisley had mac and cheese, and like, lots of my desserts

We loved it ALL. SO yummy!

Oh! And that bread and dippy dip that they bring you!

I love it! We got some to bring home for today - becuase, we are some crazy fools for bread and dip like that!
