Believe it or not I've never ordered anything from www.LaughingPlace.com but there is something on there that I really kinda wanted before I go to DL. I leave in 27 days but right before I was really to order I saw that it said "usually ships in 10 days." I thought maybe that was just the item I was looking at but no, most items say "usually ships in 7(to 10) days."

Even if they DO wait 10 days to ship it out it will still probably arrive before I leave but I thought that was a little excessive to wait TEN DAYS to ship something out to someone. What's the deal with that? Has anyone ordered from them before? Is this time period accurate?

And once again I'm going to answer a question that I know absolutely nothing about.

I was under the impression that LP doesn't really keep a lot in stock, but that for a lot of items someone will just go to the park and get them. Which would explain the 7-10 day turn around time.

I'm probably wrong-er than wrong. But I'm enthusiastic.

To answer another cutie, Wish, I think cutie number 1 is right. Those people have annual passes and go to the parks to buy the merchandise, mark them up to high heaven and than ship them off to you.

well, here are my thoughts..running an online store is my job...anywhere that takes 10 days to ship a package (i run one of the top 20 college fan sites in the country, so i dont care what their volume is) is absurd. Average ship time SHOULD be 1.73 days in all online stores.
Find the number to the actual place where you can call the parks and order any merchandise that's there..i dont know what that is exactly..but i am sure someone else does.

I have been on a lot of sites lately that say they ship in "X" amount of days, and recently I have been encountering the same amount of time on a lot of items. I would just order it and hope they ship it sooner. Unless you can find it someplace else!!!

Thank you everyone!! I went back on the site and every cutie here was right, they DO go to the park after your on-line order, buy it for you, THEN charge and ship it TOyou. I had no clue!! I don't need it that bad!!

I ordered things from them and have never had a problem. Only once, ordering Guest of Honor badges, they were kinda late. I emailed them, they were there the next day and a 20% off coupon for my next order with a nice apology.

They are perfect for something you wanted to get at the parks and didn't get a chance to...something you want to surprise something with before or after a trip. I would love to charge people to shop for them..lol I thinks it's reasonable for them to charge a fee to go and get and ship it to you. The reason for the long time with shipping is because they probally don't go every day and say maybe go on Fridays and get all their orders for the week. Makes sense to me...save on gas etc...keep costs down and make a profit.
