2006 Christmas tree at WDW

Here is the info posted today about the xmas trees you can order for your room at the resorts. I'll admit, it's a steep price. But it's my first WDW xmas trip, my first WDW deluxe resort stay, and probably the last for a while. I think I'll have to splurge!

T'was the night before Mickey, and all through your room,
The pixie dust was flying……..you could hear it zoom,
Your tree is flocked with a dusting of snow,
Mickey chose sparkling leaves and velvet bows,
This holiday tree brings pleasure and joy,
Magic will glow on the face of every girl and boy!

Yes, that is a bit steep. Gorgeous though. It's tiny, but with a huge price tag! Thanks for posting the information. I wonder if it would be easier on your pocket to just bring a minature one and let everyone pick an ornament from the christmas store at DTD. You can leave the cheap tree and take home the ornaments. Use the extra luggage space for the things you buy while there. I just can't see me paying that much for a tree for any reason....that's just me though.

wow--can you keep all of the ornaments on it??
although..it only looks like one or two are disney specific....i would buy a mini tree from home and take it with me, and some non-breakable Disney ornaments...it just seems like an awful lot of money you could be spending on souveniers..but I am cheap..so what do I know!

You keep the entire tree, decorations and all. And I know the tree pic is small, but they told me it averages around 4 feet tall.

when can you begin to order them? i am staying at SSR in december (9-16) and i think that would be a great surprise for the family.....

those are directly thru disney, correct?

YEAH!!!

I just bought one this morning!!! So go get one Chris!! My kiddos will be so excited to come back from the parks and find a christmas tree in their room! I am hoping for the stockings, but they didn't seem to think they would have them this year! They said there will also be a sugar-plum tree, with candy and lollipops as the decorations. I stuck with Mickey!!

I am SOOOOO excited!!

I have the hardest time keeping these kind of secrets! I am just so excited, that I want to share my excitement. But my DH will keep me in check, thank goodness, lol!! Otherwise, I would spill the snowflakes, so to speak!!
