No WDW for us this year. - Page 2

Thank you all so much. I have been a bit melancholy (gee could it be the hormones) lately and when I had to cancel vacation I cried for a few hours. Plus I finally got my DVD today and I just don't have the heart to watch it yet. But after reading all your notes, I feel better and will probably save watching the video until my DD comes home from spring break at her dad's. Thank you so much for the positive thoughts! Now I can smile and spend!:)

Hi Disneyholic,
I just wanted to send my congrats to you regarding your pregnancy! How exciting...I loved being "with child". It has been 7 years since I carried my son, Chris. It is such a special time for you.....take in every moment of that special bonding process....and don't forget to encourage daddy to read or just to even talk.....

My DH used to talk to my DD while she was still in my tummy, & THEN he used to kiss her. It must have been the echo in there 'cause she always jumped big time & he laughed soooo hard while I was in pain! But now they have this wonderful bond that I wouldn't trade for the world.

Sorry about this trip, Disneyholic, but I have a saying "Short-term inconvenience for long-term gratification." That baby is such a blessing...just picture him/her being shown the Disney ropes by big sis! Oh, I'm in tears just thinking about it & I'm not even pregnant!:dazed

We are so happy for you! As ArielBelle said too, I was a nervous wreck when we went to a theme park (Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio...yuck!) Anyway, I was early in my pregnacy, so I was exhausted, and every ride I went on I was worried it might have been too rough (even the kiddie rides, lol!) and I didn't want to play in the water park...you know what lurks in those waters:devil (double yuck!!) You never realize how much there is to worry about until you become a mom!!

Your vacation, with your new little one, will be here before you know it!!! Hope you stay with us and keep us posted along the way!

By the way...Get out that Disney Visa card....The disney store has some VERY CUTE infant (and childrens) halloween costumes on sale. I love the "wheezy" one from Toy Story 2. All their costumes are on sale for $4.99 each!!
