how many pressed pennies does a book hold

Our girls collect pressed pennies on our vacations. I want to get them a Disney penny book and fill it while we are there in November. How many pennies does a book hold? I want to come prepared with the appropiate number of coins. Thanks for the info

I just dug DS's out of the closet. We got ours at Disneyland last summer and it is the "Magical Milestones Penny Press Collection Book". It holds 52 pennies and there are 6 bigger slots that I guess are for pressed Quarters...so 58 coins in all. We are pressed penny junkies and get them everywhere we go!

ahh you beat me to it..lol My DD has one that she takes every trip and it's still not filled...lol maybe this time.

Oh my gosh, 52, I never dreamed it would be so many, but how nifty. GOt to start saving those quarters big time now. lol. Thanks for diggin out your book to count for me.

52 is a lot of pennies...however there are SO MANY PLACES where you can get pressed pennies at WDW! SO MANY DIFFERENT ONES! If you want to collect them all, I'm sure you'll eventually need more than one book.

Iv always thought about getting a little collection of these there so cute, how much did each penny cost in those machines? I can't remember! It might also be a cheaper/alternative collection to the pins too!

The pressed pennies are 51 cents. .50 to run the machine, and the .01 to press.

My pressed penny book only holds 36 pennies and 6 quarters. It's the HCOE book. Don't know why I bought it...
Anyone want one?

Scary but yes, they are almost full. Two are full and the third is almost full. I had no idea he had so many until I just looked to see how many a book holds.

Steph, when did Nathan start doing the pressed penny thing? I want to start Nathaniel on it in December, I think he's at the perfect age. He'll be 5 when we go. What do you think?
