How long are your vacations at WDW?

Just wondering how long some of your vacations to WDW have been. Living in Florida, most of our trips to WDW have been single day visits. Just starting last September, we have spent a couple weekends at a Disney Resort. This June, will be the first time we get to be(as I lovingly put it) "tourists"! Yeah!! ;) :D I've always wanted to stay on site for a week and just do anything I wanted anyday I wanted!!

So my longest vacation at WDW is going to be 8 days in June!!

How long have your vacations been at WDW??

We are a good two time zones away. Our trips usually are about 10 to 14 days, unless we leave the kids at home, then it will be 4 or 5 days. Our next vacation will be 8 days at WDW and a 7 night cruise.

My shortest trip was 3 days at WDW, not including the day trips I made when my daughter was attending college in FL and I was visiting. Our annual summer WDW trip ranges from 14-20 days.

our longest stay was 16 days which was heaven because it gave us time to enjoy the resort. but we have never stayed less then 7 nights. Our average I think would be 8 nights. I cant wait till next year, because we are going to stay for 3 whole weeks!

We usually stay 8 or 9 days. We always leave central texas on a Saturday, and arrive at our resort late sunday afternoon. We then leave WDW the following Monday or Tuesday, so we make it back home by Thursday. That gives us 3 or 4 full days to relax from our trip, and do laundry.

In March of 2004 will be our SHORTEST trip ever. We will be at WDW for only 4 days. (during spring break).

WOW! I need to change jobs...we don't get enough vacation time...and unless we want to give up Christmas in Nashville with the fam, we can't spend more than about 4 days at WDW. Being in South Carolina, it only takes us about 6 1/2 hours to drive. I guess that makes it more reasonable for the shorter trips. (Plus, I am not so sure the grandparents in Nashville would allow us to drop a day or two with them for the mouse :) )

I mentionned something to hubby about going during Halloween this year since they have such a great deal going on. With both of us involved in college athletics, it makes it impossible for him and difficult for me to even consider leaving Columbia at that time of the year. I suggested that I could go by myself, (I don't know if I could do that to the kids) and he offered an alternative...let's look for jobs in O'town and just call in and quit our jobs next week. Hmmmmmm..........wonder if he was serious? ;)

That's the way we approach our summer trip. tinkerbell. Just hanging out relaxing, hitting the parks for a few hours a day or in the evenings. We do a lot of resort activities on the summer trip.

My longest trip was 10 days last year. Had 2 days before our wedding got married and then had a week long honeymoon... I would love to go for 2 weeks espically around x-mas time.
