What time do I have to go?

Ok, now that I am getting reasonably close to my travel dates, I want to start asking questions about things that I'm not sure about.

We are staying at the Polynesian and let's assume that early entry will still be at 8am each morning for the various park of the day. What time do we have to be on the monorail for mk? What time do we have to catch the bus for the studios and for ak? What time does the monorail start running and what is the earliest that it will take us to mk? How often do the buses for ak and the studios run before 8am? Is there just one at like 7:30 and if I miss it we're just out of luck?
This is all really important to me because if it's the last thing I do, I'm getting all 6 of us there for when the gates open sunday at mk, monday at ak, tuesday at the studios. The rest of our days are more relaxed. We will do ee on thursday for mk but we won't be on such a mission and on saturday we will do epcot but won't be going early.
I know that I am a giant pain with all of these questions but please have mercy on me and help me:nervous :dazed

Well, I can't help you on this one, but I'd like to know the answers too. In ALL of our trips, we have never made it up in time to be at the park at opening. We always stay up late playing in the pool at night and never make it out of bed before 8:00 am. Never out the door before 9:00am.

This trip, I'd like to take the advice of some of you out there. We would like to get to the parks at opening, and go back to the resort from 2:00 to 4:30 for a nap or rest. Then go back to the parks in time for supper and then hit more rides and shows.

I dont know about the buses from the Poly to AK,Epcot etc (we had a rental card) however I do remember that the monorial was packed first thing in the am at the Poly. We didnt wait in line for it..We went and had a nice breakfast etc and then went back up to the monorail. We arent too much of early birds normally but in Disney well thats a different story... After our 3rd day there we started our honeymoon so I dont know how busy things were around the Poly because we were in our room later and then went down to pool and hit the parks later on in the afternoon.
Let me know how you make out on your trip with the lines for the monorail etc so that we can plan for our trip in July. Thanks so much. :)

Is the monorail that crowded way early or around regular opening time? If it is crowded that early, does the boat run at ee. time?

Thanks Betsymouse! I haven't had a chance to register ccpooh on d.c. yet but she will be very soon. She is very excited about it, and I will help her every step of the way. I'm glad she will have a friend here also, you are very sweet

The monrail starts 1 1/2 hrs before early entry and the buses start at aproximately the same time. They run about every 15 to 20 mins to the parks of AK and The Disney Studio. You won't have any trouble get to the early entries. The monorail run between hotels starting at 6:30 everyday that we were there in the past 10 years and the buses started at 1 1/2 before the parks open.

Buzzsmommy, have you ever eaten at Donald's BREAKFASTOSAURUS??? It is really nice..... :D Food is great, and the characters are really great with the kids. Even though, mine are all adults now, we still enjoy it!!!

:( No, that would have been fun if we were there at the same time but we are doing the character breakfast at O'hana on Wed. I plan on slamming a couple of bananas and a poptart down the kids and hitting the rode early for AK. Are you going to go to EE and get a couple of things in before breakfast? will you be doing the O'hana breakfast while there at all? Well hopefully we will see you at AK. Oh! also very important! In case we do meet, please excuse my daughter, she is extraordinarily shy. She will not speak to anyone she doesn't know extremely well. I mean, not even aunts and uncles and the like. It comes across as rudeness but it really isn't so, I just wanted to let you know so you don't think I'm a terrible mother.:nervous My son Brendon is also very shy but just not as bad as his sister. I just remembered you said your kids are very outgoing, I sure wish mine were. I hope we get a chance to meet!

I know!!! I can't believe it's so close:D :D I can hardly contain myself, I swear. It's taking all of my willpower, not to start packing the suitcases, like, today:whistle: . I always have the best of intentions when it comes to early entry, but it never quite works out the way I plan! LOL It is never easy getting an almost teenage boy out of bed, even at Disney World...not to mention my DH.
The closer it gets to time to leave for the trip, the slower the time seems to go!

I didn't even know there was ee on Mon at AK (NO HOURS POSTED YET FOR MAY _ GET WITH IT DISNEY!!) and I figured by the time we get everyone up and moving 9:30 sounded good to me. We are doing bfst at O'hana's on the Sunday we leave since we won't be doing a park that day I thought we'd end on with a nice character meal.

Don't worry about the kids - I'm an ex-teacher and know that they come in all shapes, sizes, temperments, moodiness, shyness, rudeness, politeness, toughness, softness.............. And most of all unpredictableness!!!!!!!!!!!
