Dumb Questions Asked You

The dumbest question I was ever asked was "WHERE'S THE BIG BALL?" I just pointed at Spaceship Earth and walked away. O.K. lets here the dumbest question you've ever been asked!:) JOE

By my kids: "Can we go to Disney World, please?"

That's a no-brainer in my household...

I also heard a woman ask the Disney bus driver if this bus goes to Universal Studios?
And a woman once told me they didn't go to Universal Studios because the Monorail didn't go there! :) Joe

The dumbest question I was asked was "were you just married here in Disney?" as Im standing there in my wedding dress, my DH in his tux, talking to our minister in the middle of the POLY....
I guess I could understand if the minister wasnt there with us that someone might have thought that we could have gotten married somewhere else and came to POLY for dinner or pics or something but I thought that was the dumbest question that I was ever asked.

Oops Sorry I just thought about this one and had to added it:
We were waiting in line at AK for Kali River Rapids and the couple behind us asked if this was a "water ride" we said yes...They replied with we dont like water rides... They stayed in line all the way till the end (about 35-40 mins later) then where you board the raft asked the Disney employee there if this was a water ride he replied with yes it is.oh we dont like water rides what should we do...They got on the raft (with us no less) the ride was over and at the end they said to us "Did you know this was a water ride" Oh boy we were scared :nooo:

WOW I don't think I've ever been asked a Disney related "Dumb" question. But on more then one occassion while in Disney I have had people inquire if my two boys are twins. They are two years apart, the oldest is about 4 inches taller then the youngest and outweighs him by like 20 punds. The oldest has thick brown hair and the youngest has very thin light, almost blonde hair. VERY SCARY what some people think sometimes. No dumb questions in general I get all the time at work but that's another story!:)

Wed, we had a similar experience, only DH was egging the girls (three girls) on. They asked us if they would get wet, so I calmly said "yes, you could get soaked." DH starts playing that one like a song "you're gonna get SOOOO wet! You'er gonna get soaked! You're gonna have a bad hair day from here on out!" Honestly, why I put up with him some times..

Anyways, they ask the CM who told them they MIGHT get wet, so they smugly looked at DH and sat down. Meanwhile, the rest of us were busy disrobing and sticking our stuff in the compartment in the middle. Get on the ride, DH gets doused. They thought that was so funny, but he kept telling them "Just you wait!" and one of the girls started getting upset - she really did not want to get wet. Well, you know the drop? They were on the wrong side of it and got drenched.

At least DH had the prescense of mind to shut up when he saw the one girl get totally upset and start screaming at her friends. Granted, it did take an elbow to the ribs...

Speaking of Twins, I have boy/girl twins as well as another daughter. While shopping at DownTown Disney last year a CM asked us if my DS and DD are twins. I said yes. Then came the question we always get. "Are they identical twins?" I responded "no, one is a boy and one is a girl."

Me and my sister have always gotten that alot and we are 2 1/2 years apart. You can tell we are sisters but twins, I think not!!

I'm usually the one asking the dumb questions so most questions don't seem to dumb to me EXCEPT when someone is talking to me and they say:

Is that your real hair color??? Okay maybe it isn't DUMB but it angers me because I'm a natural red head and I get OFFENDED when someone asks if it is real. I mean come on, look at me, you know.

I got that 2 times at WDW!

Not a Question but...

We were taking the local Disney bus that only circles CBR, providing transportation from one Village to another. One rider was very upset, yelling at the Disney bus driver saying, no one had told him it was a local bus and he had circled CBR seven (SEVEN) times waiting to go to MK.

I also saw someone paid $180 for two pounds of snow on Ebay. It was billed as NYC snow from the blizzard of 2003, and someone bid and purchased it.

Same with the giant cheese doodle, paid hundreds of dollars on ebay for a cheese doodle the size of a golf ball.

Yup! SOme people JUST don't get it! Makes you wonder about the human condition sometimes. What's even scarier is the jobs that some of these people hold in the real world!!!!!!!1

This twin thing cracks me up. Once my sister and I were at a state fair. She has a blonde green eyed daughter about 4 months older than my daughter who is Chinese and was adopted at seven months. The two girls were side by side in a double stroller. A woman came up and said "they are so cute, are they twins?". My sister with a completely serious face said "yes they are". The woman said "wow, they don't look one little bit alike". We still laugh about that one.
