Your Disney Breakfast
ok guys... it's the most important meal of the day. it revs you up and gives you fuel the the day ahead!! so if you're up at the crack of dawn and bright eyed and bushy tailed like me, tell us what your favorite breakfast is that gets you excited for the day!!! i know for me i choose a fatty, heavy meal like mickey pancakes and bacon or bisquits w/ gravy for a really busy day. and, for an easier more relaxing day, i go w/ grits and a piece of fruit. yeah, i like the bisquits w/ gravy and grits. lived most of my life in jersey, but i do have roots in tennessee. that's why you'll catch me saying y'all every once in a while....don't even realize when it slips out!!
even if you have a fave place to eat and no special meal, spill yer beans!

Re: Your Disney Breakfast
For the last month I have been bouncing off the walls craving Mickey waffles and sausage (and/or bacon) from the food court at CBR, all smothered in syrup of course.
I'm waiting for our first morning there so I can load up! On lighter days, I'll just wait until we get to the parks and have a Mickey Head ice cream bar or two. ![]()

Re: Your Disney Breakfast
I would have to say Mickey shaped pancakes. Not only does it fuel you up for the day, it gets you reved up for your next trip.

Re: Your Disney Breakfast
When in Disney: On the mornings that we don't do a character breakfast, I usually keep it light with a bagel and some fruit.
When home: I've just discovered brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese swirl spread. It's absolutely loveliscious on a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel. YUMMY!!!! ![]()

I just discovered it too - it is simply divine!! ![]() Anyhoo... When at home I usually eat (A) toaster waffles, or (B) a bowl of cereal and yogurt, or (C) a bagel with cream cheese. I rotate from day to day to keep it interesting. At Disney, I can't force myself to eat in the mornings! I'm too revved to go to the parks...so I shove a few granola bars in my bag and off I go! ![]()

Re: Your Disney Breakfast
I am not a big breakfast eater...I have to force myself to eat it. As much as I love the fatty bacon and breakfast pizza at the buffets, they leave me feeling sick and crappy all day. I try to stick to fresh foods like bagels, fruit and stuff like that. I really can't eat prepared food on the buffet line anymore...makes me very sick.

Re: Your Disney Breakfast
None of us are really breakfast people. Unless we are eating at one of the character breakfasts, we usually eat in our room. When we first arrive, we head to the grocery store to pick up cereal, instant oatmeal, fruit and bagels. As we each get ready, we grab whatever we are in the mood for. DH has to have his coffee and I have to have my cappocino. I bring my cappocino mix with me so that I can use boiling water from the coffee pot to make it. After everyone has used the boiled water to make oatmeal, etc. DH makes himself a pot of coffee. He has one or two cups in the room and then takes a cup to go with him to the park. We are definitely creatures of habit.
