Just a thought......

Has there ever been a forum here where only DCers list items that might be of interest to other DCers? I notice the pin forum isn't used very much, but I wonder how others might use a forum to list things like the food voucher I bought from sbarnes or souvenirs that are no longer wanted.

I would personally rather just pay one of you than to pay someone I don't know on ebay for something you no longer want or use. I would suggest a listing rather than an auction since they can get out of hand. Just a simple listing like sbarnes did with her voucher. She asked anyone interested to email her and she charged a flat fee for it.

It's a neat idea, my only concern would be liability issues for Mickey. Have you sent him the idea?

I haven't sent Mickey the idea yet... I kind of wanted to see what everyone else's reaction was...:whistle:

Personally, I would take the approach of caveat emptor...I would never hold DC or Mickey liable. Ebay operates on this premise too. I was just thinking it might be an idea for people to get rid of things like lanyards, or shirts, or whatever they bought and wondered what they were thinking when they got home....:dazed

I like the idea also. I bid on Disney stuff on ebay alot and agree I would rather buy it from someone on DC then on ebay.
I was just wondering if DC did start doing this and lets just say you have 1 WDW shirt that you are looking to sell and 3 people are interested in buying it who gets to buy it? The 1st person to post that they want to buy it gets it? Just wondering Thanks :)

Sure........I think that would be fair..... the first person to post or email would have first dibs. Posting would be better since then everyone could see that the item had been claimed which would save the seller 100 emails or so. But, I say leave it up to the seller how it would be best for them. :D
