How do you pay?

Every time we make a reservation, I'm always under the impression that the trip has to be paid in full within a certain amount of time. So, I whip out my Disney Visa and pay in full, rack up my Disney Dollars, and then proceed to pay that off over time. In many threads, I've read people celebrating "making their last payment!" Is that on their Disney Visa, or does WDW offer other ways to make payments.

You gotta make a deposit within 2 weeks of the ressie, and then you hafta pay it in full within 45 days of you trip!

But, in between that time you can make payments however you want!

If you book room only, it is even better- you pay one night's fee as a deposit, and you pay the rest when you check-in!

I used my Disney Visa on our last trip, and planning on using it for our upcoming trip. We paid our trip with my Visa and just paid off the card prior to leaving so we could use it when we needed while we were away.

As stated above, you can make a payment on your trip at any time but usually has to be paid in full 45 days prior to your trip.

We use our Disney Visa from Chase. AS with anyone else, the deposit is due 2 weeks after making the reservation (except with the deal they offered for the tripps from Oct-Nove you needed deposit immediately) Then you pay of the balanceof the trip 45 days prior to arrival. But with the Disney Visa card you are giving 6 months w/o interest to pay of the vacation balance. You must make the minimun payments and payoff any non vacation balances . So you can stretch out the payments a little bit.

We only do room only, so I just pay the deposit when booking and the full balance when we check out. I buy our tickets through the military ticket office on the Disney Visa, and we don't do the dining plan.

However, IF I got a "package," I would definately pay it off with my Disney Visa and take advantage of the 6mo. no interest!

We do the room only, as we are AP holders, and don't the DP. We just put it on the visa and then pay it off.

I put the whole trip on my Disney Visa at the time I make my reservation. And then pay it off when the bill comes. I cannot stand having a debt for something "perishable" like food or a trip.

*So unless I know I can pay it when the bill arrives, whatever it is, it isn't purchased.*

I book our trip and then stick the money back from then until the trip rolls around. We pay the balance at check in with our Disney VISA card and pay it off when we get home.

I always pay the $200 down and then make monthly payments like a car note or something on the trip. Look for free dining and other discounts u can apply to the trip then u need to pay in full within 45 days. last time I went over but they were okay with it.

Do you mean you went over the 45 day deadline to pay in full? When I was making some adjustments last week to on January trip, the CM told me their new computer system would zap your reservation right out at midnight of the due date. So I don't recommend missing the deadline.

I went 2 weeks over the date and nothing happend. thats what they told me as well but only thing is that they start to call u like a bill collecter and mail out things to you at home.. nothing too bad... I think that they also make commisison on us booking trips..
