We are finally booked for July!!

For some reason I have been putting off booking our summer trip for a long time but I finally booked it last night. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge for 12 days and I think I have most of our ADRs planned (but not booked).

Here are our plans right now but I'm sure this will change over the next several months.

Day 1
Arrive
Go to Magic Kingdom
No ADR yet since I have no idea when we will actually get there

Day 2
Start the day at Magic Kingdom
Return to Epcot after our break
Dinner at Le Cellier

Day 3
Start the day at MGM
Lunch at Sci Fi (Nathan'c choice)
Return to Magic Kingdom
Dinner at counter service

Day 4
Start the day at Epcot
Lunch at San Angel Inn (our only new restaurant so far!)
Return to Epcot
Dinner at counter service

Day 5
Start the day at Animal Kingdom
Lunch at counter service
Dinner at 'Ohana
Return to Magic Kingdom

Day 6
Start the day at Magic Kingdom
Late breakfast at Chef Mickey's
Return to MGM
Dinner at counter service

Day 7
Water park day
Shopping at Downtown Disney
Dinner at Earl of Sandwich

Day 8
Start the day at MK or Epcot
Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern
Return to Magic Kingdom
Dinner at counter service

Day 9
Start the day at Epcot
Return to Epcot
Dinner at Rose and Crown

Day 10
Start the day at Magic Kingdom
Family Magic Tour (or Pirate Cruise if Nate changes his mind)
Dinner at Hoop Dee Doo

Day 11
No plans yet

Day 12
No plans yet
Leave for home

What do you think? I know we have lots of Magic Kingdom and Epcot but they really are our favorite parks. I may add another Animal Kingdom morning before I book our ADRs.

Steph, your plans sound AWESOME!!!! You have some of my FAVES in there. I wish you were going in August, though.

So...dining plan??? I'm thinking YES.

We haven't decided on the dining plan yet. We used it last May and loved it so I'm sure we are going to give it serious thought. We may also buy APs but again we aren't sure. Our trip is 12 days but day 1 and day 12 may be non park days depending on when we arrive and depart so we could get by with a 10 day MYW passes.

Your trip sounds great. I see you decided to go for July this time so you don't have to worry about snow days.

Thanks, I have been so busy over our break. I thought we would have some time to relax but the few days we were home we had company so I didn't even have a chance to log on until yesterday.

I was hoping for a May trip again but we've already used two snow days so we would have to really cut the trip short. I went for July so we could have some extra time. I was spoiled last May/June with low crowds and cool weather but this way we get almost 2 weeks.

I was thinking about Beach Club but WL came to $2970 for 11 nights, I can't imagine what BC would have been. My DH would have had a stroke. I didn't tell him the price yet but he's the one so picked WL so really it's on him.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a code of some type comes out to lower the cost a little.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't you DVC members? I must be wrong.
I love your plans, if I could, I would spend 90 % of my time at the MK

We aren't DVC members but we have been thinking about it for 5 years. We are going to do it at some point and that $3000 would be a good down payment. We have good friends who are members and don't always use their points so they give them to us so we have been able to stay on points several times in the last few years.

What about renting DVC points at WLV? Would that lessen the cost at all or no?
