[Dana]

I have decided to throw myself into my trip plans for August instead of dwelling on my current issues with my employment. I wouldn't be Dana without a WDW game plan anyways..lol I am able to make all of my ADR's on February 28th, so I wanted to run my plans by you guys to see what you think about them. I am currently booked with the dining package and am crossing fingers for free dining. Here is my game plan. Please give me your thoughts and opinions.

Day #1 - monday 8/27
Park = MGM
Dinner = O'hanna. I have decided to give them another shot. I think we didn't have so good a meal last time due to the crappy server we had. The food was very good, so they still have my business.

Day #2 Tuesday 8/28
Park = MK
Breakfast = Crystal Palace. I sware this is the only buffet that does not make me hurl. I can always find plenty to eat without even going near the cooked food. Besides, it's a tradition for me and DD to start off our full MK day here.

Day #3 Wedensday 8/29
Park = Island's of adventure
I am not planning any ADRs. We will just grab CS at our resort or something.

Day #4 - Thursday 8/30
Park = AK
Breakfast - Donald's Breakfastsaurus. Another buffet I can find plenty to eat without touching anything cooked. It's also my Dd's favorite character meal.
Dinner = Boma - we haven't been here in the longest time. I am hoping that when the free dining breaks I can upgrade to AKL, so this will work out either way. We will be close if we are at aK that day or even closer if we are staying at the AKL.

Day #5 -Friday 8/31
Park = MGM
Dinner = Momma Melrose. This is my favorite dinner in all of WDW. My DD doesn't care for it, but I am eating a few buffets for her sake, so she can suck it up.

Day #6 - Saturday 9/1
Park - Sea world
I am not planning any ADR's this day and will use CSes

Day #7 -Sunday 9/2
Park - Epcot
Breakfast = O'hanna. this is the best character meal in my opinion. The serice and character interaction is the best in all of WDW in my experience.
Dinner - Coral Reef with hopefully llama who is arriving the day before.

Day #8 Monday 9/3
Park - Do or die park hopping day to hit every last favorite twice if we can..lol
Dinner - Whispering Canyon. This is another one I wasn't all to thrilled with last trip, but my DD wants to go back, so I compromised.

Day #9 - Tuesday 9/4
No plans because I intend to take a early flight home. My DD starts school the day after and I want her rested.

So these are my plans. It feels so good to think and plan something positive instead of dwelling on my situation at work. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for and reponces and opinions.

That would be awesome!! iluvwdw and llama are going at that time and I think Erin is considering the same time frame...I smell meet and greet!

I always miss you by a week so it would be nice to actually be there at the same time...

Oh..dave doesn't know I am planning this yet--but if free dining comes and I promise a trip to the Beirgarten he'll be all about it I am sure

Me too Bella! I was looking into the week of the 20th, but now that I see Dana's dates, I am going to see if I can change my dates around!

Dana, what a good idea! Nothing better than planning a trip to Disney!!

hey--this is off topic but is Labor Day busy there? I just pulled up a quote on WDW.com and I could get tickets and hotel at POFQ for $631.00..that's not bad esp. if free dining comes into play!

Dana, we loved Ohana's breakfast as well. Lilo was so wonderful! My little guy did not stop talking about her and Stitch for quite sometime!

Yes, that's labor day weekend. $631 is a great price! I got the whole shibang (9 days, 8 nights plus dining and staying at POFQ) for $2,100. That also includes our park tickets. The free dining will allow me to upgrade to AKL where I really wanted to stay, but it was out of the budget.

We have been there twice. Once before lilo and stitch were there and once after the character changes. The service and character interaction is PERFECT! I love that meal. I like to go super early when it's not crowded. I think that helps with the service and interaction.

Absolutely! We also have had great luck at Mama Melrose's. The service we have had there has been excellent!

I agree. I love that place. They have this sausage pasta thing that I just crave all year...lol

Oh really? I'll have to recommend that to my DH. I really liked the bruschetta we had there last time.

We had that as an apetizer....OMGoodness.. I was so stuffed leaving there..I always am. That heavy Italian food always does that to me, but man it's so good and so worth it..lol Yes, do recomment that to your DH..it's awesome!
