HI!!!!! can you tell me what the AP discounts are again?
I know they are only issues every few months- right?
so, what was it for Last June-?
I am trying to see if there is going to be one for June this year-
Bob (my DH) is already thinking of going back with kevin (our DS5) when his brother goes- since his mom and dad going with them too-
I'm glad- I think it's great-!!!
but how will I know if we can get them a good rate at caribbean beach? Is it resort specific???
Is there a place that I can see current AP discounts?
I searched threads but got confused and thought i would just ask the BEST of you!

It's usually like $75 off a deluxe, $50 off a moderate and $25 off a value per night. That' not always it, but that seems to be about the basic discount to me. Check the front page news forum for the discounts that were realeased for that time frame last year. Mickey always posts them on the front page.

I see that it jumps from june to then later in July- do they often skip dates based on crowds at WDW?

So I can't always expect a discount when they need it in June then, huh?

You may not see anything from the first week of june until later on in july...crowds are higher just like at xmas.. Keep checking mousesavers.com just in case though. You really ought to consider switching that reservation over to a package...they sometimes have package deals. You can at least take advantage of the DDP. I didn't realize your vacation dates when we discussing this in another thread. Have you tried mousketrips? Keith or Scott will know the most economical way to do this trip and will be able to suggest the right way for you to do this. I dont' want to give you misinformation...I could be wrong about the discounts. Keith or scott would definately know more than me.

so, this isn't for our current trip... this is for a trip that my in-laws are taking in June. THey are going June 16-23rd. I can tell them about the busy time- but I'm not sure that the week is flexible... I was just trying to see how they can go - and what make the best affordable sense.... I have not tried Mousketrips yet- I will go look for them here.... Thanks much! (I am still trying to see if we can make some magic happen for me to get my parents on the DDP for our upcoming trip-as they have their own room- But i'm thinking NOT since I got the rooms at Swan with points- so I think that is out question now....)

Just keep in mind that you must be with them to get that AP rate on the room. Both rooms must be in your name and you must present the AP at check in. Try to make them check in the first week of june. If your check in date falls during the AP discount, you get that rate for the entire stay no matter if the day after check in is listed as an AP discount date. Same goes for other trips...if you check in on the last day of value season, you pay value season rates for the entire trip...same for if you check in on the last day of regular rates ...you would have to have two seperate reservations to get the value rate that start the next day...fun stuff.
