So, we went to do our taxes tonight and thankfully were getting enough back that I was able to book a lot of our June trip plans. So far this is how it will play out. I am getting SO excited. Any comments, suggestions, or ideas are greatly appreciated.
3 nights in Disneyland - Staying at the Grand Californian in a standard room - 4 day "park hopper" passes 3 nights in Palm Springs - Staying at the Peppertree (Welcome Pepper Tree Inn - Palm Springs Perfect) This is the room we are staying in with a mountain view and whirlpool tub. (see below) - Touring Joshua Tree National Park - "Run with the Wolves" adventure tour. 3 nights in Las Vegas - Staying at Treasure Island in a "Petite Suite." Room description: "The ideal selection for intimate luxury is our Petite Suite offering an elegant combination of living and sleeping space. Sink into the rich, European-fashioned ambiance while enjoying the additional comforts of a king bed. Take a refreshing dip in a gorgeous whirlpool tub in one of two opulent marble bathrooms. This suite may be your dream setting for a honeymoon or your next special occasion." - Going to see Cirque Du Soleil's "O." Yup, that's all I got right now. ![]()

Sounds like an amazing trip to me.
My DH and I would like to go to Vegas for a weekend trip in July leaving the kiddos with Grandma. I'll look forward to hearing about your visit. I've heard "O" is amazing. You're plans look really good.

Re: Our June Disneyland/PS/Vegas trip...
Nice plans Jess!
S and I got married at TI The lobby of TI smells of something so wonderful...like vanilla and lillies or something sweet like that--instantly relaxing and calming. The Sierens show pretty much stinks, don't wait around a long time to see it, lol, you'll never get that time back. It's good to see once, if you happen to be passing by as it starts... Generally people line up for the early shows, but not for the later ones. I still miss the old show and the pirate in the yellow pants ![]() I am waiting for a friend that frequents PS to return from her Asia trip so I can pick her brain about it for you. I see you are doing the wolf tour ![]() Have you thought about a helicopter ride in Vegas to the Grand Canyon? I found out my friends did a tour with Maverick Helicopter, and it was the "Day Dreamer" tour. It was nearly $400 per person, but a real once in a lifetime for them (they are fom Liverpool and may not get back to Vegas again). They also did a strip flight with the same company for less than $100 each.

Re: Our June Disneyland/PS/Vegas trip...
Sounds great!!! We went to Palm Springs a few years ago (4 maybe) and we loved it. The room looks beautiful!!!
I'm using our tax refund to pay off our cruise!! Now if I could only find the time to sit down and prepare the returns - hopefully this afternoon when I get home.

Re: Our June Disneyland/PS/Vegas trip...
What a great trip. I could use some of that Las Vegas warmth right now. It was 10 degrees when I came into the office today. Brrrrrrr....

I am really looking forward to hearing about your vegas trip - my fiancee and I are considering going for a few days of extra "honeymoon" time after our wedding in Florida in May. |
