Love Bugs
When do they come out in full force? Last year when we were there (end of september) they were bad the first couple days but then pretty much gone by the end of the week.
After looking at the crowd levels for the week we were planning on we are considering a change in plans (from Sept 27-Oct 5 changing to Sept 6-Sept 14) We did want to spend DD's 4th Bday there but the crowd levels are reading 5's and 6's where the beginning of September are mostly 3's....

I'm not sure when they come out full force but I was there in early September of 2003 and they seemed to be everywhere at the resort (we stayed at the All Star Movies). I'm beginning to wonder why they're called Love Bugs because I can tell you this....I don't love them!

This is a good question for me too. We are thinking of moving our trip up as well. From the 16th Sept departure (a Sunday), to either the 5th or 12th (a Wed). We can get a better flight price if we go mid week. So if they are not around earlier in Sept we would leave the 5th. momofaprincess...where did you find that crowd level information...I wouldn't mind seeing that.
Now we just need to pick a resort!!! First trips are so confusing. And pray for free dining of course. Kim |
