My guess is that your on Southwest as there the only ones I know that you need to get you boarding passes 24 hours in advace to get the "A" seats

What the heck are "A" seats? Does that mean more leg room? I've only flown on Continental and I always try to get "exit row" 24 hours before because it's so much more leg room. But I've never heard of "A" seats before.

Anyway, sounds good!

Congrats! I love "A" boarding. Southwest assigns "levels" of boarding into A, B and C boarding passes. It is determined by how many people check in. If you check in early within the 24 hour wiondow, you can get "A" boarding passes. Why is this important? Well, since they don't have assigned seats, having an "A" boarding pass ensures that you will have first choice of seats (and you can be sure to sit with other members of your party). If you have "C" boarding passes, it is very difficult to keep your group together.

Thanks all!!!! I am on SWA. They dont have assigned seats so its first come and first served. They will have 3 lines a b and c they always let a on first then b and then c sits where ever there is room.

I know. I had my clock set today for 6:30 am so I was waiting on the computer to input my info!!!! Im soooooo tired but I wanted it to be like that so I can go to sleep tonight at 7:30pm because I need to be up in the am at 3:30 to make sure I look ok for jack sparrow
