Ok, we leave for WDW 3 weeks from today and I don't need to tell you that I'm getting excited. Our trip grew by a day last week when we found out my DFIL was having surgery. We were going to spend a few days with my DILs on our way to WDW but we decided we didn't want to impose 24 hours after surgery. I don't wish surgery on anyone but......

Ok, now for our plans.

Day 1
Arrive late afternoon or early evening check in to POFQ (just added this night this morning) We've never stayed at POFQ so I'm looking forward to seeing it.

We have two options for this night depending on what time we arrive:

Go to Downtown Disney to activate our APs and have a late dinner at Earl of Sandwich or hit the Magic Kingdom to active our APs and get our first look at the castle.

Day 2
Start the day at Epcot (Nate's choice)

Return to MK
Dinner at the Plaza Restaurant

Day 3
Move to Beach Club Villas
Start the day at MK

Dinner at Kona Cafe (first time)


Day 4
Start the day at AK

Return to Epcot
Dinner at Le Cellier


Day 5
Start the day at MGM
Lunch at Sci Fi

Evening open yet


Day 6
Start the day at Epcot
Lunch at San Angel (first time)

Evening open yet


Day 7
Pirate Cruise for Nathan at 9:30
I just added the cruise yesterday so I don't have any plans for this day yet. We may end up at Epcot after Nate is finished with the cruise since it's close.

Dinner at 'Ohana
Neverland Club for Nate


Day 8
Start the day at MK

Return to MGM for the parade
Dinner at 50's PrimeTime

Day 9
Move to BoardWalk Villas (first time staying here)

Water park day

Dinner at either Earl of Sandwich or Big River Grill


Day 10
Start the day at MK
Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern

Evening open yet

Day 11
Morning open

Return to Epcot
Dinner at Rose and Crown


Day 12
Chef Mickey's for an early breakfast
Go to MK for the Family Magic Tour

Dinner at Hoop Dee Doo


Day 13
Start the day at Epcot

Return to Epcot
Dinner at Coral Reef


Day 14
Leave for home


Some how I think I ended up short one table service meal so I was thinking about adding an ADR at Big River Grill since we are staying at BW. We don't have an ADR after our day at BB so that would be a good time but we usually go to DtD that night. I may add something on day 10 since we're having lunch at LTT. What do you think?

Thanks! We started out with just 2 resorts but added a night when we decided to drive. We're staying on rented points so the easiest way to add a night was to book a resort on our own. I picked POFQ because we're staying at POR at Christmas and I wanted to stay at a different resort but get a look at POR. I don't think I care for the theme but I want to see it in person and a quick stay is the best way to do that. We were going to stay off site when we decided to add yet another night but I gave my DH my puppy dog eyes this morning and he said add it to POFQ! I promised I would keep that night cheap but I couldn't help it, I wanted another night at POFQ.

My plan is to pack a small bag for the 2 nights at POFQ and leave the the big luggage in the car so we don't have to unpack and repack a lot of stuff for just 2 nights.

Your plans look great. Only 3 weeks to go. I can understand why you are getting so excited. I look forward to hearing what you think about San Angel. It smells so good when you are in the Mexico Pavillion. Every trip we say we are going to try it, but we always seem to runout of time to fit it in. Everyone has too many must do's for each trip.

I can't wait to try it. I haven't even been on the ride in 10 years! It's just not something we've made time for in the last few years. I know what you mean, we have so many must dos each trip that I have to work to get something new each time.

What do we think? I think that 2 weeks at WDW is an awesome vacation!!! Looks like you will be covering a lot of territory with your various resort stays and meal plans. Hope it's fabulous!!

Two weeks at WDW is great, I'm lucky my DH puts up with me. It was supposed to be 10 at teh most but it just kept growing. My DH was worried but he's come around and the extra two nights on the front of the trip were actually his idea.

I love day 12 too, it looks so relaxed and fun. We did the tour a couple of years ago and had fun with it. My son doesn't remember the details so he should have just as much fun as the first time.

Be very carful of what you eat at the Coral Reef. You never know what's been swimming in the water there.

I'm getting so excited for another nice, long DT TR! I can't imagine spending 2 weeks in WDW...it makes me salivate just thinking about it. So since I can't go that long myself, I will live vicariously through your TR! (By the time you return, my trip will be paid in full and it will be getting close to time to go! )
