Disney Collections?

What dose everyone collect from WDW??? Trying to come up with a new idea for this year. I have done the pressed pennys, the stuffed toys, the tshirts, the conservation pins and so on. What is some good things to collect at the world??? Also dose anyone know if they have patch's, the kind that you sew or iron on to things???

I have never seen patches.

I collect weird things. Mickey Mouse ice cream sticks, park maps, decorative napkins, FPs (the kind you get when you put your card in before you can FP again), balloon weights... I like free stuff.

snow globes. i love those things!! other than getting one of those, i have to do pins and pennies. sorry, i'm not much help!!

We collect the Disney Globes, Magnets, & antenna toppers. We pick a large one out each trip for the family. The kids then pick out smaller ones for their collections. We also choose at least one magnet from each trip as well. Usually from the resort we stay at. I collect the antenna toppers. I love them.. my car has not been without one in so many years.. I can't remember when. They are meaningful and remind us of each of our past trips. We are also going to start collecting Disney christmas ornaments.

We collect Disney art. We have a cel from Winnie the Pooh, a picture that contains all of the movie posters from Snow White to Mulan, a Winnie the Pooh stamp collection, pictures of Snow White, sorcerer Mickey, Donald Duck and Tinkerbell. We also have lots of pics of our WDW trips up at home. It is harder to collect art, but you can do it at the parks/DTD-you just have to have it shipped home.

My pictures are also my collection/souvenirs. Therefore I always buy a nice frame or two to display them. I take hundreds of pictures and while taking them I keep in mind some I also may want to enlarge. I'd rather see pictures of my favorite places on my walls at home and work than of something else!

You can get some really original picture frames while there.

I forgot - the last time I was at the Disney Store they did have some patch's for Back To School. I have not seen them on line but they did have some in the store. I think they were Mickey, Cars, Princess and maybe Tink - don't quote me my memory isn't as sharp as it was.

There is nothing specific that we collect, we have disney touches everywhere!

We have several snow globes that are gifts from my aunt, ears from several trips (including DS's first set of ears when he was 4) pins, photo holders, some kitchen stuff, mugs, etc.

Last trip we found these two adorable photo/card holders. One for AK (which is the tree of life) and the other from Epcot (Spaceship Earth) and would love to find them for Magic Kingdom and MGM, if they have them.

Has anyone seen if they have the other ones like this:

When I was there in July, I saw one for each park at DTD . . . they are very cool!

In Jan, we searched all over for MK and MGM ones, and the castmembers were pretty clueless..they said that the Epcot and AK ones were brand new...now i'm so excited!! I'll have to look for them next week!

We collect pins and as MGM will have a new name it will be a must to find as many different MGM pins as possible. They will become collectors items

i have Mickey Ears for every year that i have gone, 2 for 2005, so that is a total of 5 sets and i will get the 6th set in 79 days

. I do have some pins. And yes with MGM's name changing i will be sure to get stuff from there. I just dont have alot of space to put stuff....maybe some art work would be a good idea
