We booked our flight!!!!!!!!!!
Yee ha! We booked our flight for March. I'm so pumped. DS won't find out until his birthday in November when we give him the Hidden Mickeys book.
Now I just have to wait to hear back from Mickey on our vacation package . . . I am a patient person. I am a patient person. I AM a patient person. I am a PATIENT person. I am a patient PERSON.   I AM A PATIENT PERSON! No, I'm not . . . Mickey, where are you???

We flew Northwest the first two times. Last time it was a direct flight out of Milwaukee. Northwest doesn't fly direct anymore so we decided to go Midwest. It's worth the extra bucks nowadays to fly direct . . . especially with a 10-year-old who isn't the best at waiting and waiting some more. And surprisingly, our Midwest airfare is only about $20 more each ticket than our last Northwest! We're pleased with that. Airfare from WI to FL is terrible. What airline are you flying and out of which airport?

We booked our airfarea a couple months ago we paid 204.00 per person there are 6 of us that need tickets.
we are flying from chicago instead of Milwaukee or Madison or anyplace in Iowa. we have a direct flight , and figure we will drive in the day before stay at a holiday in or something leave our car parked there while we are gone and the hotel takes you to the airport. We are flying 12/18-26, I have not looked at our flight LATELY to see what the price is now. last time I looked though there were still seats avaliable.

We also will be flying Midwest out of Mitchell. You're right about no cheap fares out of Milwaukee so we pay a little more for "the best care in the air". We have frequent flyers through Midwest, so that helps.
