Finally, my DH and my MIL made up their minds on what they wanted for the trip, and we finally booked it yesterday.

6 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jan 1 for 6 nights, deluxe dining plan, 1 day base tickets. We already have our annual passes from the wedding (thank you Disney!) so we decided to do the deluxe dining plan since we are saving money on the passes.

The only thing I'm a bit upset about, is we wanted a savannah view, and they were all sold out!

I'm really excited for this trip. It will be only 6 months since we've been there last, but I'm still exctied to go back and see where we married, etc.

I think that this will be our last Disney trip for a few years, as next year we are planning a Vegas trip in April, and a 2 week Italy/France trip for the end of Aug - early September. I'm sad about this, but I guess a 2-3 year absence will make me all the happier for when I return.

I'm excited about the deluxe dining plan - I think we'll probably do a few table service breakfasts as well as a table service lunch or dinner each day.

In terms of Jan, I know the weather can be a bit unpredctable, so we will pack layers. Does anyone have any advice on January in WDW?

My MIL missed alot last time, due to the wedding stuff, so se is soooo excited to be going back too!

Yay for your new new trip! I am sure you will have a great time!

You are right about packing layers though, it can get a little chilly in January. At night, I often found myself wishing I had more than just the heavy sweatshirt I brought.
