what was your biggest disney secret :)

I am so excited about this. My husband and I take our granddaughters every year to WDW they have grown up there!! But this year hubby and I are sitting on a huge secret surprise! The girls think we are going back to the CBR but we are actually staying at AKL. Its been so hard to keep this secret. Our plan is to drive up to AKL and when they ask why tell them we just want to look around and see if maybe we want to stay there next year. Hubby and I both feel like we are going to bust over this. Its so hard not to tell them. So anyway thinking about this made me wonder who else has had to duct tape thier mouths shut to keep from spilling the beans about a special disney surprise.

That will be so fun for them!! That is a great surprise. When are you supposed to be going? You might have already said, but I'm STILL trying to catch up on e-mails. I leave the computer up a lot and then have to be out of the room doing something else (running back and forth), plus, it's getting late and my brain isn't working too good.

How old are your granddaughters?

You should post some reviews if you haven't already. There is a section here of reviews (I'm sure you've already seen) and I love getting opinions of people who have been before. I have only been to Disney 3 times so unfortunately I don't have any secrets, but I'm sure going as many times as you have you would be able to provide a lot of great information on dining and cbr.

I may have mentioned this in an earlier post, but here goes. When we go in June/July, our daughters, 7 and 10, will have no idea. We have a family summer home in Margate, N.J., near Atlantic City. When we pack for our 10 day trip, we're telling them we're going to Margate for a week. We'll head down to the family home on a Thursday evening, and sleep there that night. Then, we'll wake up the kids at 4 a.m. for a 7a.m. flight out of Atlantic City. We'll tell them to get in the car for a family adventure. They won't know what's going on until we're at the airport. So, yes, I went so far as to book a flight out of A.C. instead of Philly, which is much closer to our home in West Chester. Our 7 yr. old knows that she's been to WDW before(twice, actually) but she was too young then to remember it now, so it'll be like the first time for her. Our 10 yr. old keeps asking when we can go again, and we just keep coming up with more excuses. At this point, it's a game to us, and a very fun one at that. Hopefully, we can keep up the charade until it's time to go.:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :D :D

What a Great idea. I had remembered someone saying they were going to do that, but I couldn't remember where I had read it or who it was. The girls will absolutely love that. I would love to do something like that, but I get so excited myself, I would end up giving away the secret lol lol. Also, I remember this SO well when I was a child. My parents waking me up (when it was still dark outside) and driving from Missouri to DL. For some reason, that morning, getting up when it was still dark, was so exciting for me. I don't think I realized we were going to DL at the time and I was only 3 yrs old, but I will never ever forget that. So waking them up that early will just add to the excitement :)

I wish my grand mom or husband for that matter would surprise me and take me to Disney World.

I have a Disney secret, but If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret anymore now would it? ;)

You all have such great secrets. How far of a drive did you have? Did you have to listen to "Are We There Yet";)
