Hey everyone!!!

I know its literally been forever since I have been here... all I can say is I work for a bank and I work, and work, and work... but I'm definitely not here to talk about that!!

What I do want to share is that we are going to Disney!! We fly out on Tuesday, November 27th! We are flying with a new airline SkyBus a no thrills airline that does EVERYTHING via the web, not even a 800 number! A little scary but many friends have used them and some had issues, but most have had excellent experiences!! The best part, my family of 4 will be flying into Jacksonville, FL and back to Columbus, OH for the whopping cost of $145.00 NOT PER PERSON, but TOTAL cost for all 4 of us!!!

We then head over to the ALAMO desk for our rental SUV for 245.00 for the week +2 days... load it up and make our way to Orlando. We arrive in Orlando approximately 2 hours later and check-in to the Boardwalk Villas! We have arranged to participate in the Disney Dining Plan... That evening we have our traditional Chef Mickey "WERE AT DISNEY MEAL!!!" We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas from Tuesday - Friday. On Friday we will be checking-in to the Sheraton Safari Hotel for Friday and Saturday evenings. On Sunday morning we will be Checking-in to the Saratoga Springs Resort for our stay on Sunday and Monday evenings! Tuesday we need to decide if we are staying in the Orlando area or driving over to Daytona Beach... it will ultimately be decided on by the weather. If it's colder than we want for a beach day we will be checking back into the Sheraton Safari...

Currently we have ADR's planed at the following:

Chef Mickey's (Twice once for our traditional meal and once for Breakfast with Dew and family)
O'Hana's
Cinderella's Royal Table (We were trying to avoid this, but our youngest is so anticipating an invitation to come and dine at the Castle from Cinderella)
Cape Maye
50's Prime Time
1900 Park Fare Will most likely be canceled it's an AM ADR and not Cinderella
Norway Will most likely be canceled, if not then CRT will be... *sigh* decisions decisions!!

So what do you think??? What would you do, CRT or Norway... we are concerned we won't enjoy the menu at Norway, but the cost for CRT is very expensive... We have had Breakfast and Lunch at the Castle but never Dinner? Any reviews on Dinner?

Hi MickeyRon! I'm SO glad to see you here! Your trip sounds great! I can feel the excitment. I bet you're girls are almost as excited as you!!!

I, personally, would do Norway for breakfast, not lunch or dinner. If you want to do a princess meal for lunch or dinner, then I would choose the castle. We ate at Norway once and it was just not our thing. We ended up eating meatballs for our entire meal. The food was just weird to me.

How neat it will be to be right next to EPCoT!! All your meal choices sound perfect!

Hey Ron! I hear good things about Skybus. DSs buddy uses it all the time to fly to NH to visit his girlfriend. DS will be flying it next May to NH for the wedding. He has no complaints about it. I am actually thinking of doing what you are doing. I would have to drive to Columbus, about 2-1/2 hours from here. Let me know how it goes for you flying into Jacksonville.

Anyway, sounds like an exciting trip planned.

I can't weigh in on the Norway/Castle meals because I have not eaten at either, but your plans look great! The skybus might be worth a 2 hr drive from Indy as well.

What a great airfare you scored!
Sounds like a great trip planned. The CRT is expensive and I personally don't think that it is worth the cost, but it is something to do when your daughter is young. In a few years, she may want to avoid the whole princess thing all together.

Well... the verdict is in... I need to send the invite to the Girls and 1900 has nothing open :( I am a very picky eater so I am afraid I won't enjoy Norway at all... So we are going for Dinner at the Castle... Madison will have an appointment just before at BBB... it should make a very memorable evening.

A HELPING HAND IN THE DECISION: I always send an Invite to the girls from Cinderella to invite them to Breakfast or Lunch at the Castle... My youngest who is very much still in awe of the princesses, Brooke will enjoy it, but she knows the truth :( , comes to me very disappointed and states that she has not received an invitation from Cinderella... I explained to her that she is very busy, and Cinderella has many little girls that she needs to see and that she may not get to go to the Castle this year. The disappointment in her eyes... just killed me... if your a Dad of a little girl you know what I am talking about (Yes, I am wrapped around her finger... AND PROUD OF IT). So Mel and I talked and while we know we can send an invite for Norway, the menu is scaring me off... So we are heading to CRT, Hey it's only money...right???

Have you double-checked the difference between evening CRT and the other 2 meals? Last I knew, other Princesses weren't at the evening meal. Only Fairly Godmother. Not positive about Cindy. Make sure so you don't disappoint that youngest.

The invite could still come from Cindy, even if she's not there, right? It is HER castle after all.
