I had an idea to make our autograph book even more special. All of you have probably already figured this out, but I thought I'd share anyway! Read on...

My 3 year old DD and I did the whole "autograph thing" for the first time this last trip (two weeks ago). It was such a blast! We were looking at the book, and I realized something was missing. Sure we remember the magical moments now, but will we in 10 years? Some of the best pictures we take are of the character greetings. So, I printed out 2" X 2" pictures and taped them to the appropriate page. So on the Lilo signature page, there is the picture we took when we got it signed. On the more "common" characters, we have three or four pics attached. It turned out REALLY COOL! Next time I will "skip" a page for more pictures or bigger pictures. You learn more and more each trip!

We have a digital camera and photo printer, so it is VERY easy to do. Took me all of 40 minutes.

Anyone else do anything cool with autographs?

I've heard of people making their own small autograph books, and decorating them according to their childs personality, fav characters (i haven't done this yet). I am planning on doing what you just did, when we go on this trip.

Since it is my son's bday, i bought a new autograph book to use this time. I'll *try* to have them skip pages inbetween signatures, so that when we get home, we can also print out the pictures of my ds and the character and put it on that extra page. We have a couple of old autograph books from past trips, and just looking back at the signatures, is ok, but having pictures next to them will be neat!!

Oh, awhile back, the DIsney Store was having a clearance sale on Shirts and small picutre albums. The shirts were black and white,with mickey and the gang on them, and the picture album matched, but was red. They have a space for a picutre to be put in, and then 2 lines for you to write on. Not sure if we'll use this as an autograph book this time, or let my son make his own memory book when we get home.

Another Idea I heard (and havn't done yet either:whistle: ) Is to take a picture of you child getting an autograph w/a character, then when you get home, use a computer program to make that picture an Iron on and put in on a shirt. You can put lots of pictures on one shirt/Iron on or do one of just your favorite picture. I hope to *remember* to do this when we get back from this trip, so he can wear this shirt on another trip!

what I am going to do (I am a big child at heart) is take index cards three by seven have the characters sign it ( I will print who that card is on it so if i cant read it i will still know who it is ) when I scrapbook ( i am determined to do a scrapbook of this visit ) i will put the card next to the picture in the scrapbook that way it will be a great souvienier from our trip

Ohhh..I like that Idea also!! I'm going to do a scrapbook of our June trip too!! I may just have to do this one too!;)
