Warning! Don't forget your kids!

This was in the September 2007 Readers Digest, Life in These United States, page 221.

A warning called out by a bus driver at Disney World:
"Don't forget your kids. If we find them, we drop them off at the 'It's A Small World' ride, where they'll learn the song in 30 languages, and sing it to you over and over."

Sounds like a fair enough warning.

Disney Transportation is too good.
I've left the children in numerous far off places - but they always find the rooms again.

Perhaps you should have that homing signal in your titanium hip removed.

Re: Warning! Don't forget your kids!

hmmm food for thought anyway. My dd sings that song over and over again now...if I could just get her to stay on the ride when she does it, I'd be a bit sanier...well sorta.

Re: Warning! Don't forget your kids!

OMG, that is so funny!!

I'll never forget the time we were on the boat from MK to the parking lot back in the mid-80's. The CM was making all the announcements about docking rules and safety, blah blah blah. Then she said something like, "There are many people getting off the boat. Please grab your children by the hair . . . by the hand, and exit in an orderly manner." We must have been in a whippy mood because it struck us so funny we laughed 'til we cried. It's not so funny now when I retell the story. But it was hilarious at the time and a well needed laugh because it was so crowded, late at night, and the natives were getting restless.

Um, it's the bread crumbs..

You are feeding them too well.

Gruel, on the other hand, leaves them hungry, and they can't leave a trail of bread crumbs to find their way back, either..

I think they should post copies of one of my favorite signs in conspicuous places around the property: "All unattended children will be given double espressos and free puppies."
