Have you guys heard of Sam Brown and the show Great Hotels on the Travel Channel?
Have you guys heard of the show Lizzie McGuire starring Hillary Duff?

How about a new show starring Hilary Duff presents Walt Disney World Resorts.

Heres my idea. Every episode Hilary takes us on a tour of a WDW resort hotel or an area of one of the fours parks. Hilary can give the kids view of each place, plus the behind the scenes stuff that adults love to see. Hilary has the same bubbly personality as Sam Brown, but she is more recognizable to the kids.

I have been reading a lot of post about some kids not being very interested in WDW. This might sparks some interest in these type of kids. Have you guys ever seen shows on Nick where the host are on location at Universal Orlando?

Give me your thoughts. How could I get this idea submitted to our friends at Disney Corp?

That sounds like a fun show. I think more parents might watch than kids! :D As for getting your idea to Disney, I'm not sure about that one!

Sounds like an excellent idea to me! I wish I knew how to submit ideas myself. Disney should have a way for people to submit ideas and if you win you get some kind of AWESOME prize.

Didn't they used to have a show about WDW on the Disney channel? Disney Insider or something like that hosted by Geroge Foreman I think?

They could bring that show back with her as host. That would be great.

I didn't know they had a show like this at one time. I have always wondered why they didn't. It just makes sense to get "free" advertisment on their own network.

We just started watching Disney Channel about three years ago, so I've never seen their shows before 2000.

This is a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!! Much like the old shows on Sunday night, The Wonderful World of Color, used to have shows about DL and and WDW and such. This would be a wonderful show. It would also take some of the "Edge off" for us hopeless Disney Buffs between trips to WDW!:) :)

I love Samantha brown and her show! I try to watch it every day when I get home at 3, lol. And of course i go crazy when anything about WDW is on tv, so I love the idea!!! lol. I remember staying up each night during summer vacation praying that something about the parks would be on during Vault Disney. I think Hillary would make a great host too!

yep they did have a show with George Foreman (who btw way is from here in Marshall and boy I have met him ..that is one huge man!!!!) it was a great show . .. I dont know why it doesnt still come on. We use to watch it every time.

I still think this is a great idea (even if Lizzie and WDW are no longer partners)...Have you submitted it to them or even Travel Channel? My kids would love something like this. Their eyes light up when we visit the resorts. It would be great if they had their own ideas as to which resort we stayed at...

Wow I'm responding to a 2 year old post. So special :P. But anyways I like to watch Samantha Brown go through the hotels on the travel channel. It's really fun to watch how she goes through the cities that she stays in and shows us what's in them. I really liked when she went to Orlando for WDW on one of her shows too ^_^.

I am glad this thread was reserected b/c considering the changes Hilary Duff has gone through in the past 2 years since her Lizzie McQuire days, I wonder if people would still feel the same about her. hehe.

I LOVED the Lizzie McQuire show, I even saw the movie (I will admit I was devistated Miranda wasn't in it, hehe) Now I think she'd just crashed and burned it's so sad to me how anorexic she is looking now a days when she used to be just a happy, healthly, vibrant young woman.

Seriously though, I've always loved Hilary. Always she thought she was so cute, sweet, easy going. She just seems like 'one of the girls'. And I'll totally admit that I bought her first album.

But I do think it's sad how she's changed, like Wish said. She looked SOOO much better (and SO healthy!) when she had all that weight on her.

While I'm an...avid....not-lover of Hilary Duff...*shudder-shudder* I think this would be an awesome idea! Just about anyone from the Disney channel kids would pull this off well, and anything to get the kids interested.

The chick that plays Chelsea on "Raven" might be a good candidate too. She seems more real to me, and still has a great personality.

And that...simply adorable guy on "Phil of the Future"! Ricky Ullman! Oh snap, the visions of hot minors is dancing in my head. ...or is he not a minor?
